    Food Before and After Photos

Dinner last night was a tuna melt on zero carb bread inspired by all the beautiful sandwiches @GreenTealael makes. My bf ate the other half for me.

    November 2020 sleevers

Ugh the gas is no joke. I'm about to get my 30 minutes in (even though I have not rested much today, lol) It helps. Also try some peppermint or ginger tea - the nurses recommended that in the preop class. Good luck. This too shall pass.

    January 2021 anyone?

Hi there - I am scheduled on January 28th ... I moved it from November 18th just last week, as panicked how I would cope through the holiday season away from home as well. So get home from holiday, 2 weeks fluids then all go! Excited... New Year, new me yay! Cant wait to get healthy. I am 58 and booked in for this 5 years ago, then chickened out, so no going back this time ๐Ÿ™‚

    Anyone November 2020

I was able to come home from the hospital yesterday. The first day I was in horrible pain that was made worse by the fact that I started my period on surgery day and I tend to have bad periods. But after that first day, things improved a lot. Iโ€™m home after 2 nights and almost 1 additional day in the hospital, and Iโ€™m still pretty weak. But itโ€™s nice not to be hungry.

    Feeling so hungry today

I was also told that stomach acid will mimic hunger...so if you were prescribed an antacid, take it, even if you don't feel like you have "heartburn" or acid reflux. Good luck!

    Stopped Losing Weight

If you want to start losing weight again.... It's pretty simple. 1) stary under a 1000 cals a day (i don't know where someone said 3500, that's ridiculous). 2) Plan your meals 3) Portion your meals before it hit the plate. 4) ONLY eat what is on the plate, never go back for more. 5) log your food (like many have said). 6) Only eat at the table, if you eat in front of the tv or in a car you will over eat. 7) NEVER eat and drink. ๐Ÿ˜Ž Move Move Move......

I'm 3 months out and averaging 450 calories per day. Nutritionist said I should aim for 800-1000 per day.

    Favorite Grocery Products

I love most flavors of Greek yogurt, but my absolute fave is this Caramel Apple Pie yogurt. Has chunks of baked apple in it and it really hits the spot!!

    Revision completed

Had the revision done at 7 30 am this morning weighing in at 180 my original goal weight. The first 12 hours were horrible. This was a very painful surgery for me and I don't know if it was because they also took the hernia I had. ( I believe they said they took it and not fixed it but I am still on the drugs. ) I have been given morphine to start with then they switched me to dillata because the morphine wasn't cutting it. I am back on liquid hydro now. I wasn't able to urinate either for the first several hours and I am still having a hard time with it. I have been crying through most of the day. Pain, anxiety and lack of sleep have been my companions as they are still not letting visitors in. I cant tell if I still have GERD . The gas pain has been in my neck and shoulders it sucks. I did 3 laps around the ward at 1 am to see if it would help because I thought I had read it helps with the gas. Well I will keep updating my progress here. Good night
