    Stomach pain

This ^. Your insides will take about 4-6 weeks to heal. Your soft tissues are still "knitting" together properly and you may have some small adhesions that are sorting themselves out.

    Revision date set!

Welcome to the forum. I wish you the best possible outcome in December. I had a similar experience with a sleeve and weight regain. I chose the Loop DS (SADI-S), got it done in May, and have had great results! I advise you to forget all your past food preferences. Start over and build a long term nutrition plan that you will follow life long. This should include everything your nutritionist recommends. You will find new foods you will look forward to eating. When you go through your doctor mandated stages, only introduce foods in your new written plan.

Oh yeah, that first time you overeat is not pleasant. But it does help to reinforce the eat slowly rule. I still ask myself if I really need the next bite, not that I just want it or am eating out of habit. I tell myself: put the cutlery down & push the plate away. To make things even more difficult you may find your tummy just can’t tolerate certain foods or that some foods make you feel full more quickly than others. I had a spoonful of mashed potato a few weeks back & it sat like a lump in my tummy for ages. Good luck on your journey. It can be a roller coaster of experiences but so rewarding.

    Beginning BMI 35 or under

I thought the same for myself & was told the same by people. I was 192 lbs at 5'5" (size 10), but I had high blood pressure, high cholesterol and high triglycerides. I went to the appointment with the surgeon scared he'd deny me but he said he thought I'd be a good candidate because of my other health issues, then I was scared the insurance company would reject me... but my insurance approved my surgery and paid for it. I will say my weight is coming off much slower than it does for people who have a higher weight to begin with. But I am 170 lbs now and over 5 weeks post-op. I say GO FOR IT. It is one of the best decisions I've made for myself (along with lasik surgery). I would have NEVER gotten off of sugar and carbs without the surgery. Now I do NOT want them or need them, especially sugar. 🤮

    Osteoarthritis

I see you are in Florida! Do you have access to a pool? Swimming is great exercise, and if your shoulders can't handle "freestyle" you can always flip on your back and do "elementary backstroke." If you don't want to swim, just walking in the water is great exercise too, and takes the weight off of your joints.

    Weight stall

stalls are a normal part of weight loss. They typically last 1-3 weeks, and you're likely to hit several more of them on your journey. I didn't cut or increase calories - I just stuck to my plan. It'll eventually break, even if you just stick to your food plan. My first stall lasted two weeks, and once it broke, I dropped like 6-8 lbs in a couple of days. I didn't make any changes at all - just tried to stay off the scale for a few days so I wouldn't be frustrated by it!
