I'm thankful I am almost 100lbs down from my highest weight back in Aug 2019. From now on, I'm taking all pics like this!!!

    Food Shaming!

Ugh. I hated the “concern” people around me always had about my eating habits. I just said, “yup, I’m watching what I eat”, or “no thanks, I’m watching what I eat”, and tried to change topics to something about them. Thankfully the concern has more or less stopped at 2 years out. They are all used to it now.

    Can anyone eat carbs?

Anyone eat carbs like bread and are OK with it? I'm wondering if further in my journey if I'll be able to have it again.

This is cool. I put in my numbers when I started a 1200 cal diet back at the end of July and it nailed it down to the week where I am now.

    Food Shaming!

"Is that all you're eating?" Why do you ask? "Don't you like the food?" Why do you ask? They will give up.

    Food Shaming!

When I read the title "food shaming" I had something completely different on my mind.

    Reality Is Setting In

Out of everything I packed, I used my chapstick, lotion, & phone/charger the most. I had a 2 day hospital stay.

It *may* be a bit relevant in the sense that had you NOT lost those 90 lbs pre-surgery, your post-surgery weight loss rate would likely be higher/faster. But dude, congrats on the massive loss!!! You are doing GREAT! ❤️

In other news, I had the same surgery as you through the very highly rated program at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, MA and they recommended Premier Protein shakes, which I liked, so reasonable people can disagree on this issue.

    Anyone for August 2020

I'm eating pretty much normal food now - I feel like maybe I shouldn't be because it has only been 5 weeks? Bit worried that my pouch isn't working as it should, I was expecting to feel full after two or three tablespoons of food. Nowhere near. Not sure why.
