I believe that you can 100% get back on track! However, I think it's also important to be gentle with yourself and allow yourself some grace during difficult times. Just try to do the best you can, and be mindful of your food choices and then kind of let the rest go. What you're going through isn't easy! I'm so very sorry that you're dealing with that situation. I do hope things improve for you!

Thank you, Jordan. I appreciate your kind words! Have you ever heard the Demi Lovato song, I Love Me? That's basically me in a nutshell. Overly compassionate and gentle with other folks, but usually not with myself. Working on it. I appreciate you! ❤️

    Muscle spasms

I did and it was because my electrolytes were out of whack. The two main ones to help with muscle spasms are potassium and sodium. I am not a fan of Gatorade because it has a lot of salt, but no potassium. Cow and soy milk are high in potassium and have enough sodium per serving to help replenish your body's needs. But as @tarocardreader says, let your team know. Also, get your fluid in!

    Reality Is Setting In

I got a call late yesterday about my ride to get my covid test on Monday for my surgery....that means it is only 4 days away, I am excitedly nervous and anxious. I have had to rescheduled the surgery about 5 times after the first attempt failed a year ago and can't believe it is actually going to happen this time. I can't wait to get it done and get on with my life!!!!

    My VSG pouch too big?

Surgeon said drinking fluids should be easy for most. The problems start cropping up as increase from puree to soft to normal food. That is when chewing food a lot becomes really important. Sent from my SM-T580 using BariatricPal mobile app

    7 Years Sleeve Post-Op

Oh dear lord, your arms and back are the stuff of my dreams! I totally HATE strength training (though I force myself to do 20 mins of it every day...cursing the entire time, btw), but if I can end up looking like you someday it will TOTALLY be worth it. Your newest fan, ms.sss
