Pics of skin after weight loss?

hair loss is another thing that most (maybe all?) of us vets, in retrospect, wonder why we worried so much about. It's temporary - and for many of us, we're the only ones who notice the loss (I know some people lose a lot - a very noticeable amount - but most of us don't). It's a minor annoyance in the grand scheme of things. whether or not you need Spanx depends on where your loose skin is - and how much you have. I was apple-shaped, so I don't/didn't have much on my hips, butt, and thighs. Mine was almost all in my gut. And yes - I just tucked it into jeans or "tummy control" leggings, and always wore a slightly oversized, long-ish top. Ta da! Excess skin gone. I'm sure I was the only one who noticed it. Spanx would work, too, if you're not wearing something that it can be tucked into. as far as 500 calories, that's really just the first month or so. From about that point until maybe a year out, I was eating 600-800 calories a day, usually closer to 800. At around the year mark, I was at around 1000-1200. Now, in maintenance, I eat 1500-1700 a day. I did develop what we think was reactive hypoglycemia at about two years out, but I was told to eat something every 3-4 hours and, if I eat a carb, to be sure to pair it with a protein. That seemed to take care of it...

I am thankful I still lost weight on my mini vacation. I did eat more than I have been and exercised less due to tweaking my back last week. I am thankful my back is feeling better so I may be able to exercise this week. I am thankful for my dogs. They were so much fun to watch play on the Oregon beaches last week.

You wouldn’t believe how happy I was to eat Tuna and I’m not a fan of it but it’s something other than liquids. 😂😂

I can only speak for myself and my experience. Recovery was not bad. I was extremely tired for about 4 months so I agree with the previous post that rest is essential. I remember binge watching Call the Midwife and a lot of shows I had on my list because I had NO energy. Just plan to have a lot of down time and take it easy. I read so much information that scared the crap out of me and none of it came true. 1. I never dumped or had food get stuck. Never puked (to this day) 2. I never got dehydrated. Water was not that hard to drink when I added limes or water additives. Hint water also went down very smoothly and I ordered several cases 3. I did go through a period of depression and most people do. You wonder what you did, how long will life be strange etc. Im about 1.5 years out and life seems really normal to me now. The only time I feel "altered" is when I eat at a BBQ or family event and I cant just have a hamburger and some sides. Its just the patty, cant really finish it and I cant have a bunch of beans and potato salad but other than that eating is pretty much the new normal 4. My hair did fall out more than usual but I never had major hair loss and it slowed down a little more than a year out To sum up...dont be scared!! They tell you all the terrible things that could happen because they kinda have to but dont expect those things to happen. Keep a positive outlook and you'll do fine

I've always wanted to take a surfing lesson in Hawaii. I've now been twice, 10 years ago when I was 6 months pregnant (and too fat anyway), and in 2018 at my high weight at 393. I plan to go again someday and I WILL take my surfing lesson. I'll most likely fail miserably at it, but it's still something I want to try! Sent from my moto g(6) using BariatricPal mobile app

I've always wanted to just be able to get through the day without having my weight impact the enjoyment for my family. I've always wanted to be medication free (and I may be by the time I'm 30) And I've always wanted to have a baby with my husband (fingers crossed for when the weight is gone and were no longer in a pandemic!)
