There's not been much good news about this pandemic and having to wear masks all the time. But I finally found one! I've gotten sensitive about my "turkey wattle" but don't want to pay the cost of plastic surgery. But wearing a mask--instant face lift! I look YEARS younger with a mask on!!😁

    Body Lift Surgeon Recommendations?

I'm in southern Wisconsin - so about two hours away from Chicago. There wasn't anyone in my area who specializes in massive weight loss patients - or even someone who doesn't necessarily specialize but who does boatloads of body contouring on weight loss patients (first option was my preference - but second option would have been acceptable).

    August 2020 Surgery

I’m starting the prep in the morning. I found this program on the App Store called Hourly Chime. It lets you set hourly reminders to drink your prep and water. I also have Bariatastic but the reminders don’t always go off as they should. I had a final disappointing Italian dinner and 6 fun size snickers. I feel ready and very excited about the prep. I’m ready to roll!

Thank you @wishmesmaller! I am in my room now. Watching the Yankees game ♥️ I love my baseball. Feeling good. I can feel the pain of my stomach being cut. However, I am handling it well. Hope you are all ok. I am not allowed to eat or drink anything today. They provided me with the mint “popsicles”. Works well for dry mouth.

I am just starting the process. I have my consult on Friday. I have only told people who are loving and supporting because this is such a personal and big decision that I do not want to deal with negative. Surprising enough one that I thought would be supportive gave me rash about removing organs that are supposed to be in my body. That’s exactly what I don’t want to hear. I only want to be surrounded by support & love. I am glad I found this site. I am positive it will help me along my journey.

    Awesome Doctor in San Diego

Dr. George Zorn III, MD at Scripps in San Diego is phenomenal! He’s been doing the Gastric Bypass surgery for over 20yrs, and has been doing the Sleeve since it was introduced. His knowledge on both surgeries is top notch. I had my surgery on 9/16/2020, and can’t say enough great things about him. If you’re in the area, I completely recommend checking him out. Visit the link to below to read more information on him, as well as see his ratings! https://www.scripps.org/physicians/5717-george-zorn?tab=overview

What dr are you seeing Oklahoma City?

I am also seeing Dr. Hamilton Le at Integris Baptist and I also have Aetna insurance. My plan requires 3 months of non-surgical weight loss prior to surgery. Aside from that, I will be finished with all of my requirements tomorrow afternoon. My 3 months will be up when I see the nutritionist for my last visit on Nov 11th. I'm hoping to have surgery before the end of the year. How far along are you in your journey?

What dr are you seeing Oklahoma City?

I'm going to Dr. Hamilton Le. I like him a lot. I started with Dr. Broussard but switched after I found out the info they told me about them being covered by my insurance was not correct. That's a costly mistake. Be sure to check your insurance and not take the dr.'s word for it. Also, I had to start all my requirements over so that was irritating. I have Aetna, they referred me to Dr. Le and integris is a center of excellence.

    Oklahoma City Sleevers

Im just now looking for a surgeon! Dr Hamilton is the only one in network with my insurance company. How long from the start did it take you to get a surgery date? does he make you do 3 or 6 months?
