Hi there! It's been forever since I've been on here and just wanted to say HELLO!!! I recently celebrated my 2 year surgiversary and am super proud to be maintaining for almost 1 year & 4 months. Would love to share a video I made of me spinning and showing my week by week 100 lb. loss transformation. Let's just say, if I can do it ANYONE can!!! Sending much happiness, love and health your way!

Oh gosh! My head is spinning just reading this. This is exactly why I went to Blossom Bariatrics in Las Vegas. We didn’t have to do that crap and they still file with your insurance. I can say that for me, I do not snack at all anymore. They will be removing the hunger hormone during the surgery, so you will not feel very hungry at all, especially in the beginning. I am almost 2 months out and I still struggle to force myself to eat. Good luck on your journey!

    Feeling no pain

You will know it as soon as you start progressing through the food stages particularly when you reach normal/solid foods. Even possibly by puree/soft foods.

Thank you all for the insights! It gives me a little sigh of relief that the WLS will continue to work after the weight is lost as long as I continue with the new lifestyle. I think Heather13 said it best... I realize it will not be an easy road, but remaining prisoner in my current fat body is no longer an option! I will try my best to not continually psych myself out! Again thank you everyone. This is an amazing site!

    Food Before and After Photos

I decided not to do before photos this time. I did them on the previous two weight loss attempts. I want nothing to remind me of where I was. My past belongs in the past and I don't ever want to look at pictures of myself at 366 pounds again. I like living in the present and love watching my clothes get steadily too big for me. This is more rewarding than a photo ever will be. I am going to keep one pair of jeans from my heaviest so that when I feel down about life I can out them on and realize that I am a success.

    February 2020 Post-Op Thread

It's been a tough couple days. My wife was pregnant and we lost the baby a few days ago. Normally I would eat to cope but since I cant do that I'm having a tough time. She had to have emergency surgery because of it and I've had to pick up the slack with our son. Guess I overdid it and am now having sharp pains under my right side incision.
