    The nerves are setting in

I go in tomorrow for my surgery. Nervous, Nervous, Nervous and trying to pass the time and keep my mind busy, because it's nothing but fluids today. My husband will be about to enter with me and meet me at recovery, but not allowed once I get a room. This replies are helping me out, like you can't believe.

    Surgery in Poland/ Eastern Europe

Not sure how giving a positive recommendation can be considered ‘fans taking it too far’. I don’t know what you hold against him, but the ‘hero-worshipping’ you refer to might be from reading multiple positive reviews from people living a better life as a result of having surgery with Dr. Chris. During my research I didn’t find as much good feedback on any other European surgeon. You are entitled to your opinion obviously but please don’t bad mouth a surgeon you haven’t actually met or had an experience with. Best of luck with your research and your journey.

    How often do you weigh?

I weighed daily the first three years or so and then switched to once a week. In maintenance (as long as you're staying in maintenance, that is...) you're pretty much bouncing up and down the same 3 or 4 lbs all the time, so it gets frustrating. I just weigh myself once a week now and jump into action if I get out of my acceptable range.
