"5 more days.." is the phrase I've been telling myself on repeat for a few hours now.. I swear my whole neighborhood is making BBQ today! It smells so good. I am ready for some real food!! 😩

Thank you on the congrats. The baby was my deciding factor in choosing to go through with Bariatric surgery. I want to be able to run after my grand baby! I ended up telling my daughter to have her best friend in charge with me as the secondary person. So it looks like that will be the case.

    June 2020 surgeries

Gastric Sleeve 08th June, it had been postponed from March due to Covid. Two days in hospital due to nausea from general anaesthetic (I always have that post surgery). No pain at all really, even had to drive (be driven) for 9 hours home. Not able to put much into myself at the moment and not sure how normal that is. The first few days it was literally a few sips of juice/milk. A little over a week out and I can finish a Boost protein drink over the course of the day and half a cup of cream soup. I have tried some thinned applesauce but that isn't sitting too well.

I've always had a problem of looking in the mirror and seeing a fat chick no matter what my weight. Are y'all like that too? It's so frustrating now that we can't try clothes on and I always buy them too big and have to return them. Is there anything you can do to see yourself the way you truly are? Thanks!

I just rejoined the page yesterday. I read through many forums which are great! I wanted to add one to see if it can inspire me to be more successful in my preop and postop weight loss. As we all know the journey is hard just to decide to go through the process .for the surgery in the first place. What have you thought or started doing to help your life change to lose weight and keep it off? They say it takes 21 days to rewire the mind to break a habit. Today I am started with not eating after 8pm.

Wow, that was fast. I'm really hoping I'm not on a long wait list. Going through Wharton Clinic in Stoney Creek. I'm going to see if this can be bumped up. I'm being sick every day now and it is so frustrating. Fingers crossed . Thanks so much for looking into the lawsuit. You take care of yourself

Hello Guys thanks for your help, really appreciated. First help from Ortiz's clinic....(still supports me after 4 years), is arrived. They suggest performing some tests to check if I have developed Hiatal Hernia. I am already booked for: - Gastroscopy - Ultrasound for gallbladder stones The symptoms are getting a little bit better since I only have very small food intake and mostly liquid, but extrasystole is there all-day.....3 beats 1 missing...so annoying, but I am getting used to it at this point, or at least I have to. Down 10 pounds already in a week, feel tired.... the same feeling like the pre-op diet.. I hope this getting better soon. Thanks for the support

    Can’t win!

Perhaps ask the surgery if the risks of another surgery outweigh the benefits at this point & what percentage of these situations resolve themselves vs requires emergency surgery Good Luck ❤
