How much weight loss is enough?

yea that "what you are willing to do to maintain it" is a big factor, too. I know I could weigh less if I was willing to cut my calories back to 1200/day. Or become a gym rat and exercise two or three hours a day. And some people are willing to do that. But I'm evidently not. I can maintain my weight if I stay in the 1500-1700 calorie a day range and exercise moderately. That's acceptable to me, and not too tough to do day in and day out.

it's where you feel comfortable. Some people feel comfortable being a little on the heavier side - maybe 10 or 20 lbs overweight, and that's fine. It's really not a big health risk. I got down to about a 21 BMI and really didn't feel comfortable there. Every rib was showing, so I was embarrassed to wear clothes that showed my ribs (like tops with low necklines). I hover around a 25 BMI now, and even though I'd like to lose about 5 lbs, I do feel comfortable at this weight. Plus my doctor is one of those who prefers her older adult patients (which would be me...) to be in the 23-27 BMI range (to give us a little cushion in case we get sick), so she's totally fine with my current weight (although I do wish I could lose these #&% five pounds!!!)

    Alarming Hairloss

I hit 3 months and my hair started falling out also. I'm currently at six months and the loss has finally slowed down. Now that our stay at home orders are easing I have a hair appointment Friday where I'm going to get it cut really short. Think Carol of The Walking Dead short. That way the new hairs won't have much catching up to do!

Can someone tell me how long it took

5-6 months. I completed everything in April but corona hit in March. We were shooting for May but looks like June or early July. I'm in the Atlanta area.

Can someone tell me how long it took

Believe it or not, the time goes by really quickly. I had my initial appointment in October 2018 and had surgery May 2019. I actually went through GW hospital just because it was closer to where I worked and it was easier to get to appointments. But once you start the nutritional portion, it usually depends on what your insurance requires. I was required to attend 6 nutritional appointments and have a psychological evaluation. Once I completed my 6th appointment, I was scheduled shortly thereafter. My husband went through AAMC several years ago and his time frame was similar to mines, so I think it mainly depends on your insurance and you not missing any required appointments. If you do, usually the time will start over. But both hospitals have good programs, I think AAMC was a little stricter in the after surgery eating requirements. I hope this helps.

    Psych Evaluation

Somebody congratulate me, I just passed my Psych Evaluation! I used that online/phone company and I don't think our phone call was more than 20 minutes. At the end he wished me luck and i flatout asked him if I passed and he said I did with flying colors! What no ink blots? LOL

    Breast Lift with Implants

Boobs take a long time to heal...just like our stomachs. The scars are looking better and they have really dropped and fluffed. Just wanted to post an update. Another before and after. This BL/BA was like the crown on top of sleeve surgery. I highly recommend if you're considering it. I have even more confidence and I didn't think that was possible after the sleeve. Lol
