    1. The longer I go without seeing people, the greater my opportunity to surprise them with my new skinny self! 2. It doesn't matter that my bras don't fit, b/c I don't have to wear one! 3. By wearing jammies every day, I have no idea what size clothing I wear, so it will be a fun surprise when I finally decide to get dressed again! 4. Working from home, I don't have to worry about temptations from coworkers bringing in donuts, cookies, etc. 5. Also no restaurant temptations, since I eat every meal at home. 6. I can use all the $$ I'm saving on not getting hair and nails done to get extra glamorous when I break out of here someday. 7. Amazon delivers my favorite protein shakes. 8. I have plenty of time to try various free workout videos on YouTube. 9. Plenty of time for weighing experiments, before shower/after shower, before pee/after pee; the possibilities are endless. 10. I can drink as much water as I want, b/c I can pee every 10 minutes if I have to (which is also fun for #9).

    Food Before and After Photos

I guess it doesn’t work without sweetener, it’s what fluffs it up. I’d just add more instant coffee. You must have a better hand mixer than me, mine took 3 minutes, or I think my bowl was too big? I used unsweetened almond milk so I liked how sweet mine was. Kahlua is a stroke of genius, every once and awhile I miss booze lol

    Food Before and After Photos

Its, been a while, but glad to see one of my fave threads still going strong with so much deliciousness. I LOVE looking at pictures of food. Is that weird? LOL. You guys have stepped up your plating game! I've basically stuck to eating my go to meal 95% of the time: salads with stuff on top, here's some. I know, I know, kinda boring...but DELICIOUS. I heart salad 4-ever. The other 5% of the time, I may eat some of what I made for the fam. Here was last night's dinner: Sweet potato and corn chowder w/ crispy bacon topping:

What does Botox have to do with a tummy tuck? Seems like an odd combination. I only get Botox in my forehead 😆

    15 year weight loss success

Its been 15 years and 10 months since my surgery and I have lost 196 lbs and kept it off. I have a goal for this year of getting down to 164 lbs from 199 lbs where I'm at now. I was 24 lbs heavier just over 2 months ago. I've been using an app called myfitnesspal.com to lose the weight. It took my a little bit to get the hang of it but now I'm comfortable with it. I pick my foods and it gives my the serving size and calories and deducts the calories from my daily limit. It sets up your plan by diet, starting weight and goal weight. As you lose the weight you change your current weight and it adjusts your allowable daily calories to keep you losing weight. I tried it free for a month and was shocked at how much I had lost so I purchased a one year plan and it wasn't expensive. I have the app on my phone and it is easy to use. I hope that this information is helpful for someone.

    Taste buds changed?

I haven't completely lost my sweet tooth, but I definitely have an aversion to many different sweets. Candy bars seems gross. I did however, have a few jelly beans on Easter, and they tasted yummy. Before, I would have wanted one of the Reese's eggs instead, but not anymore. I used to eat McDonalds at least 3x a week (how else do you think I got so fat? LOL). I haven't even thought about going there, it just seems gross. Sadly, I still have cravings for pizza, potato chips, and bread.

Get rid of that band!! I had the band for 2 1/2 years, and I've had the sleeve now for 3 1/2 years now. There is no comparison. Just go and read all the band to sleeve revision stories and you'll find everyone is so much happier to be rid of the band and get sleeved. The sleeve works like the band was supposed to. I can eat anything I want, just smaller portions. If you choose a good surgeon who has done revision surgeries, there aren't high statistics for complications. Complications do happen, but they are rare.
