    Major Stall

Hey guys so long time no see. Here’s what’s happened. I have lost a grand total of 258 pounds I now weigh 415 pounds. However I have hit a MAJOR stall. I’m talking about a few MONTHS. I exercise 5 times a week, eat healthy (IE: I meal prepped ground turkey avocado wraps this week as an example) and my body is not having it. It says it loves this weight and will fluctuate slightly but will not go down. I’m at a loss. Help!

    How is everyone holding up?

Thought I would check in and see how everybody is holding up though this crisis. Luckily for me my husband is considered essential and still gets to work for 6 hours a day. I am also essential, but I only work one day a week. Hope everyone is doing alright! Take care!

    exercise and hunger

I'm 6 weeks today, and I too have been battling this hunger stuff.... I feel like I'm always wanting to eat, and then when I do eat, I feel like I take that 1 or 2 extra bites and it just hurts. It's like i'm trying to feel fuller longer. I also feel like I can eat a little more than 2 oz now too. I'm going to try to up my water intake too and protein to see if this helps. Great advice. Thank you! Lisa I really hope you feel better soon! My only problem thus far has been my rash... it really sucks.

    Regret

I don't understand how they could even do a proper test with only two sips.

    It's going slow

I was sleeved on 3/3 as well and I’m down 14 pounds. I wanted to lose faster as well but I’m happy it’s working. Slow and steady wins the race per all the parables in childhood. ❤️ Good luck and keep up the great work! It will work for both of us as long as we keep putting in the work.

    It's going slow

The slower the better sometimes. It will all come off in the end. Focus on the day to day eating and even though its coming off slow you will see the long term results over time.

    Emotional all the time

yes - Aj is right - a lot of women become emotional in the weeks after surgery and sometimes it's due to hormone release. Some women have bizarre menstrual cycles after surgery, too, for the same reason. It'll balance out after awhile, if that's what it is.

    "I think you're overdoing it"

A few people lately have told me I am exercising too much. Going to the gym and taking classes is something I love doing now. I don't go multiple times a day. I feel healthy and fit. But several people really close to me have expressed "concern" that I've transferred my food addiction to an addiction to exercise and I am overdoing it and using it as a new coping mechanism. These people never said a word to me when I was literally eating myself to death. I don't know how to feel. I don't feel like I am overdoing the exercise - I give myself time to rest and work different muscle groups each time or alternate with cardio. I am kinda angry that now these people are giving me a hard time about something I feel is actually bettering me physically and emotionally, when they sat idly and watched me eat bags and bags of fast food and gain 150lbs in the last 9 years and never expressed any concern over that. Today I hit 130lbs down in less than 9 months and I'm well on my way to my personal goal weight well before my one year anniversary. I am finally proud of myself and confident and angry that these people aren't happy for me and are now telling me I am taking things to the extreme. I was about to apologize for the rant, but realized I'm in the right forum. LOL. Sent from my SM-G930R4 using BariatricPal mobile app
