    **Im curious**

Others may also be picking up on the positive changes in you and responding in kind. I know that as the pounds came off, I felt better and better, gained more and more confidence. I stood up a little straighter, took better care of myself. I'm sure that was projected out into the world and people noticed.

    I am concerned

I second Jazzy's recommendation. Contact your surgeon to let them know what's happening.

    Enjoying food is gone?

I'm not even a month out from my surgery so I can't really say for long term, but you get full really, really fast. I still enjoy eating, just wayyyy tinier amounts. I eat cauliflower pizza, but get full after one slice where before I ate three before getting full. I eat a modified taco salad which has seasoned ground turkey, cheese, avocado, taco sauce, and tomatoes and it's delicious but I can only eat 1/3 of a cup of it before I'm full. You can still enjoy food, just not in the same volume. And... the first two stages suck. Just saying... but it's only for two weeks. Soft foods stage is what I'm on now but on Friday I get to stage 4! I can't wait to eat pork again!

Yeah strangers in the mall look at you like a real person and the staff in shops are definitely nicer. Girls actually smile at me sometimes..

You are not the first person to call me twisted..... hehehe.... I like it in 2001 i was working with a girl. She was very thin, I was not at my heaviest, but over 200lbs. She always wore very stylish clothes, but she would always have something to say about people's weight, myself included. You know the fat people are gross and lazy... She and i didn't get along. I had to leave that dept because one of us was going to die.... hehe... (for real). Fast forward to 2012 three years banded and looking amazing. I left that company in 2009 only weeks after my band. I was in the store and she came up to me and said, Hey Chris, how much weight have you lost..... I said..... looks like the 89lbs you found... I know it was not right.... but man at the time... it felt soooooo good to put her in her place.

How do I cut the candy?

That's where cutting a protein bar into 8 pieces and freezing them come in. Then instead of popping candy, you pop a bite size "candy bar" in your mouth! And you get nutrition and protein in at the same time.

    Complications after surgery??

I was wondering what complications, if any, you had after surgery? I started having bad pain and nausea in my lower left abdomen, and they found it was diverticulitis. They think it is due to all of the protein shakes and after surgery diet/ pain meds causing constipation. I finally went back to work after being out for 2 weeks, and I started vomiting white foam, and I am back to feeling super nauseous and dizzy. Anyone else having these problems? Unfortunately with feeling so sick, I am not getting many calories and my dr said my body is in starvation mode, which is stalling the weight loss. I have to force myself to get up to 800 calories a day. Not fun...
