    Buzzing Through Life No More!

Oh, you'll be still be buzzing for sure, but doing the things you enjoy, because you'll have all this new-found energy after your weight drops! Things that hurt before won't, so you'll be able to do more with less pain. Even a thirty pound drop will give your knees a HUGE sigh of relief! Ha when I read your thread title in the "recent topics" side bar I thought it was going to be about having to give up coffee...🤣

I had been a 1kg away from my goal for a few days - jumping up and down a few hundred grams at a time. I was really getting discouraged and almost indulge my feelings with more food and after psyching myself up, I chose not to do that to myself. I woke up this morning and hopped on the scale - low and behold - I finally hit my goal weight!! I can't wait to see my dietitian later this month. It's my first meeting with them and I've already got my weight down! Just wanted to share my pre-op success!! 💃

    Migraines

I’m just starting my 4th week post op, and it has been rough, but I’m now currently dealing with insane migraines for about a week straight now and have no idea how to handle them. I was released from the hospital last week after being treated for dehydration and lack of vitamins. I’ve kept up my liquid intake, have started eating soft proteins and kept up with my vitamins as well. Has anyone dealt with migraines like this before?

I have 4 dogs. I was more worried about the dogs being home by themselves. I have a doggie door they can come and go. My dogs have food and water 24 hours a day so there is no issue with them scarfing down food and I have a doggie door. I have 3 chihuahuas and a golden. My daughter also lives two blocks away, but I worry about her coming in the house when we are not there. My Golden might bite her, seriously, not hard, but a warning bite. She is not the brightest crayon in the box. The Chihuahuas love my daughter so there is no issue with them. My doc put my mind at ease and told me if my surgery is in the AM, I will most likely be discharged the next day, so that would only be two nights away from home. My husband will be staying with me. I was thinking of booking the hotel for him for a second night so he can go back and get some rest. I am pretty sure that is what I am going to do.

    Greek yogurt

Ok, so here's what I do. And this is my new flavah fave these days! Plain Nonfat Fage Greek + Orange Bitters + Liquid Vanilla Stevia (Vanilla flavored) + 14g frozen blueberries (or you can do Walden Farms Blueberry Pancake Syrup OR you can add a small scoop of flavored protein powder or any of the fruit flavored Premier Protein drinks OR you can add about a 1/2 - 1 tsp of sf flavored jello powder. But I'm SOOO digging on the orange bitters. They have other flavored bitters that are zero or close to it carbs. Oh and add some slivered almonds and hemp hearts and chia. DELISH!!!

Tried of not being able to go!

I agree - contact your surgeon. Constipation is common after WLS, but three weeks is way too long.

    TPN anyone.?

oh, bless you, you poor thing. I had a volvulus (remnant stomach twisted tightly and cut off blood supply, made me very ill) post op and was converted to a bypass 1 week after my sleeve, in agony, couldn't drink, let alone eat also ended up with a picc line but the conversion to bypass fixed me kinda (still having issues eating) no TPN for me but headed that way if I can't get my intake and nutrients up. I'm also a nurse so have given TPN a lot. Are you able to consume anything? What's going on with your gut and bowel? Big virtual healing hugs coming your way x

Sit down jobs. Oh no!!! HELP

Get yourself one of those small under desk exercise "bikes" or "steppers", if you really are strapped to the desk for that long, there are also plenty of other things you can do to get some exercise in! Just googled "Desk exercises" or "chair exercises" https://draxe.com/exercise-to-do-at-your-desk/ https://greatist.com/fitness/deskercise-33-ways-exercise-work
