    Sex

I would think it would be hormonal rather than a side effect of WLS. If anything, I think the WLS would make one's sex drive higher, since better self-esteem and confidence comes with losing weight, and that helps bring the sexy back!

What to do When You Can't Eat

Pilates and running up large credit card bills buying cute smaller clothes. When you can drink protein drinks and have popsicles, soft food will come soon. Before you know it, you'll probably be able to eat a lot of the things you like, just in different preparations and smaller portions. Your taste for unhealthy food may change too.

    Discouraged and need advice

@Seimmaj You can't come on here and ask for help and not expect the forum members to give their help and opinions. There are some very experienced and successful people on here, and the really successful ones are not going to sugar coat it. You want to defend your nutritionists approval of a full sugar drink and yet complain when posters point out that obvious issue. Change is hard, but humans generally run from it. Also deep introspection that elicits lasting change usually takes a huge painful event, and not subtle gentle hints. A friend died, boom and he was only a couple years different in age from me - he and his wife - wonderful people, but both obese. I did not want to be that person, at the least I would die having tried to really change. You are early in the journey, and we all get impatient, there will be stalls, frustrations, maybe even a set back - but just keep going.

If you’re not happy with the results change the plan. The choice is yours - what has worked for the majority is cutting out refined processed sugars. If you remain unpleased with your progress I recommend changing it up. The choice is yours the journey is yours the results are yours. Best

    Discouraged and need advice

Well I sacked my nutritionist because she was hopeless. Don't listen to me even though I've lost a lb a day pretty much everyday for 5 months - 132lbs ! Good luck on your journey!!

Amazing transformation. Congratulations. (Sometimes wearing your baggy clothes reinforces how much weight you’ve lost. I pull on one of my old dresses when I’m around the house on really hot days. Love flapping it about.)
