    SLEEVE regret

Ugh. So really, I thought your question was genuine. I thought you were genuinely seeking feedback. But it turns out, because you already know everything -- you knew "the answer" to this question before you asked it. You were looking to set people up and receive some "bias confirmation." LOL. *sigh* I sure hope everything goes textbook with your surgery and you have no complications...I fear if you have to contend with any, you will be one hot angry miserable mess.

Hello everyone. I finally had surgery this past Monday, 11/18. It took my surgeon a while to get the Lapband out of me because of all the scar tissue that had accumulated. I was supposed to come home yesterday, but I couldn't. I was in so much freaking pain and had so much nausea that I stayed until today. So I sat in my favorite recliner after getting home for about 20 minutes and well, I've been in bed ever since. I knew it was going to be painful, but dang this really hurts. I'm not hungry at all which is the point/purpose. I've lost two pounds so far, and I know that as the swelling, gas, and pain fades, I will continue to get smaller. Yeahhhhh, now I'm excited and happy!

I actually prefer not to die

BTW, it's the anesthesiologist who will be bending over your face to shove an endotracheal tube down your throat - not the surgeon. And it pays to be nice to the anesthesiologist - they are the ones who keep you alive AND comfortable during the procedure.

Perfect!!! I did that same exact thing!! I had a Goal 1 then a Goal 2 then a Goal 3!! So I kinda backed into it cuz I didn't believe I would do it! Good for you for coming back to center girlie!! I did have a stall at 6 months. I think it lasted a good while. LOL. I had to get back refocused and quit cheatin on myself. The fewer times you go off the wagon during WLM the better, quite honestly. It's harder and harder the more you reinforce that behavior.

How much sugar caused you to dump?

Is not quantifiable. I find different things cause different issues on different days.

    Almost 7 months

Discouraged? You're 50 pounds lighter. That's GREAT! That's PROGRESS! Keep up the good work.

    So completely confused

Hello, thank you for your reply. I have been using the pillow over my stomach when I cough and it helps a little. I’m hoping the post nasal drip disappears to allow me to concentrate on everything else that’s going on, I stated my period the day of surgery, well once I had woken up from surgery and it’s been a super heavy flow (sorry for over sharing) and this isn’t particular helping. I’m wondering if there is a relation to the surgery and period. As I had not had one in 5 months pre-op. I will try to use the spirometer more! I’ve been lazy with it. I have been laying around because of the pain so I will try to push myself to walk around more!! thank you for your kind words again rosy
