One thing I was NOT prepared for when I had my LapBand and lost all my weight was how others reacted to my changes. I was so focused on me and getting healthy that I did not see the others around me seething with toxic thoughts and words. Took me completely by surprise how you know people for years then all of a sudden their true character showed up. This time around I am prepared but I am totally documenting this journey from the very beginning in my blog! It's been therapeutic to write it all out.
