Take advantage of your “honeymoon” period. It gets much harder to lose or set healthy eating habits once it ends.

    Am I losing my mind...

Treading lightly here because I don't know where you stand culturally\religiously BUT If I'm being honest the things I highlighted leap out to me as very controlling. Now that control is being lost you may begin to see a whole host of issues arise- none of which are your fault or can be fixed by you. My advice is to carefully and calmly watch while continuing on your path of health and happiness. The rest will end up as it should. Good Luck 💚

    Side by Side Saturday!!

I'm having neck envy and those collarbones 😍😍😍. You look like your own daughter in your after picture and the mother in the before picture. Beautiful in both, radiant in the after and much younger. Everyone looks amazing and inspiring to the journey ahead. Thank you all for sharing and inspiring us to push through.

This is an individual sport. Don't worry about how much other people are losing or at what rate. Stick to your plan as much as you can and forgive yourself if you make an error. If you do make an error, go right back on your plan. You may need to track or tracking may make things harder You may want to weigh yourself daily or you may find it frustrating You may hate working out or find out you actually love something you have never tried before People will probably treat you differently and some of your relationships may change You may want to keep your surgery a secret or you may want to start a blog about it You did this for yourself, and you're in charge. Reading about other people's experiences is helpful, but ultimately your experience will be your own. Enjoy the fun things along the journey like fitting into smaller sizes. There really is no final goal, this is a lifelong journey with ups and downs.

Take your time moving to the next phase we all are different, Just because they say 2 weeks your body is the time decider. Go with lighter and less. Just take a little at a time over 30 min. If you are cramped or does that mean you are full stop. This is a pain in the ass to figure out, how much you can handle and how fast took me a long time. No reason to be uncomfortable so let your body tell you.

I have a college kid here, and my husband knows to fend for himself so we are in different situations, however when I did/do cook for us I make one protein some veggies and something starchy for my son. I’ll nuke a potato, rice from Trader Joe’s or even just bread. Rotisserie chicken is a savior, tons you can do with that. I make a lot of tacos, I use 96% lean ground beef. you can just set out bowls of stuff like a taco bar on the table and you can pick and choose what you like and they can have what they like. You said your family likes pasta, make pasta and nuke zoodles for yourself, then you can have those with whatever sauce you made. breakfast for dinner is a good one too. Make Canadian bacon or ham so you can have protein too. Eggo Waffles count as dinner in my house. It’s very doable, ask your family for help and support, I’m sure some of them will pitch in. Especially if they’re afraid of what you’re cooking! Enlist the kids in ideas and prep to make your life easier, you deserve it.

Feel it Same here but i ended the madness - Hope this helps I am a chef so cooking is easy and this double cooking was to much even for me - So i made it easy for myself 1. Go online to amazon and get Food Prep containers - 2. Then i just make my meals 4 at a time so i dont have to bother with them on a daily basis, For example today i have made 4 shrimp meals and they are ready to go, All i have to do is warm them when i do the kids meals. It is hard and frustrating, I also let the kids eat out twice a week so That buys two days. I run my own business also so i get it all done ahead of time For example today i just made a batch of Japense Clear soup - They will eat it during the week and so will I - Already packaged in containers and ready to be just served out GOod luck and get organized and it will be a ton easier By these three items to make life easy 1. Soup pot - Only buy this commercial one the others do not have the insert pan https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NRX4D1C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 2. Slow cooker steamer easy for all of you tons you can do with it https://www.amazon.com/Crock-pot-SCCPCCP350-SS-Programmable-Casserole-Stainless/dp/B01FJPS24G/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?keywords=Slow+cookers&qid=1575832511&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzQlhUSkFRQVU5MkVEJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMzY1NjM0MTFFT0pTWUFFMUYzTSZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNjAyNTE4MUJZT0ZLMVBFSUlWSSZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU= 3. This is probably the harshest thing I have ever written on here, but unless you have some issue I'm not aware of, I think your doctor is bananas. I wonder if it's some test to see if you can do it? I had the same surgery and could have a shake and 2 lean cuisines a day the 2 weeks before surgery and only had one day of liquids. That being said, I don't think taking them for a week would hurt because you won't be able to eat after surgery, but the hunger that comes back when you go off appetite suppressants is always a concern. I would ask your doctor if the diet is really mandatory and about the appetite suppressants.

It really depends... Some partners like their spouse to stay big so they don't get any attention from other people and they may start to feel threatened once you start to lose weight..
