    Finally felt full

I didnt plan accordingly for my lunch at work yesterday. I generally weigh and measure everything and plan ahead from the day before. I had been craving meatballs and since I didn't pack anything I had a "side order" of meatballs in a dish, not big not small so I figured I would eat 1 to 1 1/2 and save the rest for today n tommorow. I made the mistake of being on the phone while eating and apparently ate too much. This is the first time I have felt "FULL" since surgery and I can tell you I did not like it. I felt grossly sick for about an hour afterwards. I felt as if I was going to vomit, although I didn't it was a close call and I think I may have felt better if I had but I let nature take its course and didn't force it. I had a small piece of fish and some squash for dinner which I weighed and measured and felt fine thankfully. Lesson learned for sure, I never want that feeling again

    Changes in relationships PO

I don’t buy into the jealousy or haters gonna hate excuses. I try and see the best in people. Do you remember how you felt 75-100 pounds heavier? I was very insecure with myself. (I believe) People feel vulnerable when things/people change around them. Sometimes they avoid people who change because it might bring up feelings of inadequacy or force them to look inward which might be uncomfortable for them. All you can do is be yourself and hope you reconnect someday.

I didn't weigh until about a week out for that very reason. It's all the crap they pump into you before & during surgery. It'll work its way out of your system over the course of the first week.

    Finally felt full

I’ve done this , and like you , felt absolutely AWFUL. It’s the very worst feeling isn’t it ? I hope you’re ok now. I start the last stage on Saturday and am really nervous of trying stuff not mashed down , and introducing new foods . How did other people find it ?

Don't worry about it. There is so much swelling right now, as well as the IV fluids. It will come off - it's not real weight gain, such as in fat. That is impossible.

My daughter is one year out of gastric sleeve surgery. She has done very well but in the last couple weeks she has been experiencing very high liver enzyme’s and Billiruben in her urine. She is in the hospital right now and they have ruled out Hepatitis. They do not seem to be paying much attention to the fact that she has had gastric sleeve. She only drinks alcohol socially. And she is only 24.Has anyone heard of this complication a year after surgery or more?
