Try blueberries instead or peaches. I used the Premier Protein Peaches and Cream, Fairlife FF Milk, Ice and frozen peaches. Plus you can add a spoon or two of yogurt or kefir for pro/pre-biotics and extra creaminess.

    Post RNY activity restrictions?

I had no restrictions on stairs (I live on 2nd story). Restriction with driving only secondary to pain meds and my comfort level (about a week). 10 pound Lift restriction for 8 weeks, I think.

    AETNA DENIAL

I think my doctor's office dropped the ball also. They screwed up the peer to peer conference and said they filed an appeal. Aetna says they weren't available for conference and they never did the peer to peer. They never even returned my phone calls. Finally I got pissed and went in there but it didn't help. I had the sleeve 3 years ago and that dr. was always on top of everything so I assumed that would be the case here. Not even close. I'm glad I kept on top of stuff, but getting approved by Medicare was a Godsend because I definitely prayed for it and that's when I got my approval. Thank you God for your devine intervention [emoji173] Sent from my SM-J337P using BariatricPal mobile app

    Getting off cpap..?

It is definitely possible that you no longer need CPAP. It is also possible you DO need it and just need your pressure level adjusted. I was diagnosed and started CPAP in Feb/March. Mine was listed as mild to severe (mild was when I wasn't really sleeping/ severe was in the little bit of time I actually slept). I am starting to do really well on CPAP and sleeping much better. I also am able to stay awake later than I was able to before, so I know it is working. That said... I have surgery scheduled in 10-11 days. I am REALLY hoping that losing weight will mean I can go off CPAP. But, the only way any of us can know for sure whether or not we can remove CPAP is by repeating a sleep study (some do a version of it at home). Just know, weight loss is much more possible/successful if we are compliant with CPAP.

Thanks Guru, you are my only response so far, and I appreciate the well wishes. This is a 1st for me joining an online support group, and I realize that most of you are far more recent post surgery, but I think my issue is not an uncommon one, and something that could affect so many later in your lives. I have started back on liquid protein and resumed a large daily water intake, limiting my carbohydrates, and solid food to 80% protein, as the carbs makes me want to eat more. Already dropping some pounds. I would like to say to the group, that I welcome any questions you may have, about long term success, with this surgery. This is the 1st major "bump" in the road for me in almost 16 years, and if I can help anyone I would be happy to 😀

Sorry it makes you uncomfortable to read about an issue I was concerned about. I figured it sounded better and than using the words squirt or gush odor. I wanted to see if anyone else probably had this issue that embarrassed me when it happened. There was jo warning in the reading materials we were given before surgery.
