This isn’t anything spectacular, but I saw this tree on my walk today. I have no idea what kind it is, but I would love one in my yard!

I’m in month 3/6 of my pre-op and have cut out all alcohol for the foreseeable future. Will there be a point when I may be able to enjoy a cocktail again post-op? Not a party guy, but I kinda miss a good gin and juice.

From today’s hikes. There was a suspension bridge on the 2nd hike. And more swimming. I have trouble not jumping in when I see a nice spot.

    July 2019 Surgery Siblings Post-Op

That is awesome that our surgeries are so close! My day starts at 4am, I can't drink late at nights or I'll be up and down all night in the potty. It's hard for me to drink slow, so sometimes I drink to much and it hurts.i have a water app with reminders but I'm still too busy at work to take a sip. I'm eating soft foods but after 2 or 3 bites and I'm done, anything more becomes painful. The shakes go down so much easier. I expected to lose more than the 16 lbs. But I'm pleased so far 😁. I really love having everyone's support on here!! I love hearing everyone's journey.

Hey to all my BariatricPals who have lost 100 lbs or more what exercise routines worked best for you? I’m 10 weeks post gastric sleeve and my goal is to lose 160 pounds! My surgeon said I’m going to have to work hard to lose this much weight. So I just joined my local YMCA and have started taking water exercise classes and Zumba. Of course I was told that walking is good. I’m just curious about the “secrets” of the success of those of you who have already lost 100 pounds…
