If you ever feel like you're surrounded by know it alls (here or in real life) and want to scream/type "just shut up already" you're not alone. You're awesome. You're doing great. If your journey is totally normal and you're freaked out because you're NOT experiencing the myriad of issues you see here, I feel ya. If you're having issues, I hope you're finding the non-judgmental support you need. If you're not, I hope you find it. Try & remember the people commenting on every freaking post to chastise & bully are really talking to themselves.

My surgery went very well! I came home on Tuesday evening and the pain is getting better but still lingering. Trying my best to get my protein shakes in, but they just don't taste the same. I use Orgain mixed with low fat lactose free milk. I'm required to drink 16 oz. I was able to get in 14ozs yesterday. Also tried just a little water, jello, and 8oz of broth. I'm glad I'm able hold my liquids down. My goal today is to get my full 16ozs of protein in. What flavors of extract have you guys tried in your protein smoothies to make them taste better? baby food homemade

I agree - just throw whatever you're planning to eat a blender and puree it. I did that with omelets and some sort of spinach/feta cheese dish, as I recall. And some other things, too. We were given the option to have real baby food instead (well, by "real" I mean the stuff that comes in jars), but just the thought of eating that turned my stomach!

    start of 2 week diet

I started today, too! For me, it’s just trying to break the habit of actually eating. The hunger isn’t terrible yet, lol. But we got this! We’ll be on the other side soon enough. 😁 Feel free to talk if you need some moral support!!

    Post op diet

My docter wanted me to do liquids for 1 month then pureed for 2months then soft food for a month. I went rogue at 3 weeks and started pureed for a week then moved to soft food a week later...
