    Surgery needs and help

I was given a firm little pillow, made by hospital volunteers, I remember being really sore in one spot, and holding that little pillow really tight over that area helped a lot. I used it when I coughed, sat up, or repositioned. It was invaluable at home as a prop against my tummy when I slept or had to get up out of bed, out of the recliner, or off the couch. That little friend went every where with me for at least a couple of weeks. I would ask ahead of time if the hospital has such pillows, They often used them for open heart patients who need to support their chest incisions. If not, take something like that = the size of a travel pillow, but very firm.

@mousecat88 I’m dying to know what a Bari-Bear is. Is it a giant stuffed pillow bear? That is what I’m imagining.

Some type of rubber bottomed slippers or other easy to get on but not easy to trip you type of footwear for walking the halls. I loved my short sleeved zip up robe to wear on top of my gown to not show off my butt. I just zipped it up for my walks and zipped it open when I was in bed. Bring a magazine or something to read so you can sit up in a chair and do something if you don't feel like being on your phone. Underwear and pads because a lot of women will start their cycle early after surgery.

I've bought a lot of clothes from Walmart, and they are way more affordable than torrid. Not to mention some are actually cuter. Don't knock Walmart till you try it!

To Sea or not to Sea

I hear ya, I often lament the state of my upper arms. But you know what helps? Tighter clothes. Keeps everything in nicely. Leggings and fitted tops are my new best friends. As far as swim suits go, I plan on wearing some skin tight rash guards come vacation time this summer...

    An Uncomfortable Question

Sex is sooooo much better when I'm thinner. And even with looser skin, I am waaaay hotter than when I was obese. And not just because I am thinner, but because I am more CONFIDENT and sure of myself, and the weight loss was a big part in re-cultivating that. You are really worried about how you will feel/look after weight loss (I notice this is your second post on the topic ♥️). But are you happy with your situation right now? I'm guessing that you aren't since you are moving forward with the surgery. Change is scary. But if you put in the effort, it will totally be worth it. 100%. ♥️

Girl... Im not judging but Walmart has some CUTE dresses in their plus section this season. Ones that made me downright ANGRY that they weren't in my size... Did you miss the graduation already?
