    18 months post VSG ~155 lbs, BMI 27 Reflux (GERD) increased in intensity but I'm working on it. Mystery of dumping continues- c'est la vie... Gave up a few foods for a while to see if it helps both. We'll see. Not many other changes from the prior month. This looks like maintenance for me.

    I havenโ€™t met the surgeon yet. Getting ahead of myself I guess. Iโ€™ll meet him in 3 weeks which seems like forever since Iโ€™ve wanted this done over 20 years ago. My insurance covers it finally!!

    My hospital's instructions say no driving for 3 days and I'm not allowed walk home. We only live 2 blocks from the hospital, but my hubs will be going to get the car when I'm released. Sent from my SM-G960W using BariatricPal mobile app

    You're not supposed to drive within 24 hours of having anesthesia. Do you know how long you'll be in the hospital? I was there 3 days and 2 nights. You should definitely check with your surgeon's office. Good luck to you! Sent from my SM-N960U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Hot chocolate: 1 cup milk (I use fairlife for more protein), heated. 1 TBL unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 packet sugar substitute of choice, a drop of vanilla and a teeny-tiny bit of salt (like VERY little salt). Yum and counts as protein.
