    Sexual stamina

Did someone say sex? Legitimate topic and a great side effect of weight loss surgery. Female 45-50 chiming in on the guy talk. (hope you don’t mind) Oh yes, libido and stamina from hell. Chased my hubby around like a teenager - It’s a win win for our significant others.

Scheduled for weight loss on 8-2-19

I've been reading and reading ever since my primary recommended it back in Feb. 2018... I seen my Sleeve doctor on 4-19-18 and was approved this month.. It's just that my Dr said no need for dropping.. Thanks for the advise.. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-J727AZ using BariatricPal mobile app

    One year mark

And here I was worried that I would be even shorter because of losing the fat pad on the soles of my feet. In my prime I was 2 hairs under 6 feet, now my nurses and surgeon tell me Frustr8 you're only 5ft8in, so weight and menopause must brought me down. I must have the spine of a osteoporatic mackrel or something!🐟Pat me on my dorsal fin and call me "Fishy"!

Wind knocked out of my sails

What you're experiencing is totally normal. I had the same thing and it caught me by surprise, too. I also had difficulty tolerating shakes shortly after surgery. Doc advised me to lay off them for a day or two and try again when my tummy is better healed.

    Another surgery?

@wnusrt1 hey bud the answer to your question is yes!!! the most common reason for conversion is terrible/unbearable heartburn😣 you didn't mention if you have that problem? not pointing fingers, but have you totally been eating correctly? Portions esp. the sleeve only works with you, if you work with it. (saying this, and below with TLC) if you are getting the GB, thinking you might loose weight and keep it off/problem solved? not necessarily true you will loose the weight initially- but If you don't change your eating habits, you might gain again. eeeek Try and give the sleeve another chance - you might not have that much restriction now, but if you follow the rules of protein, water etc. you can't help but loose weight.☺️ do a liquid diet/protein shakes for awhile, this will give you a jump start in loosing more weight gradually go to soft - etc. i emphasize watch your portion sizes. i know my portion sizes were through the roof before sleeve (7+ years ago) lets meet for drinks, info - conversation, i'm buying, water of course😁 good luck☺️ kathy

Hey, everyone! I am now 5 days post op and I am feeling very weak. I am trying to drink water, but I am so afraid of overdrinking. I also realized that drinking protein shakes makes me feel ill. I get a major case of the stomach rumbles. Is that normal? Every single time I drink anything, I also get pain in my chest. I am full of gas and it won't come out D': Drinking just causes pressure and pain. I don't remember anyone else mentioning this. Is this normal? How have you differentiated between gas and heartburn? I'm so lost and I feel terrible.
