    Skin??

There will be loose skin bc of how rapid the weight loss is. Start exercising and weight training as soon as you get cleared to. Also, lotion lotion lotion. Keep your skin moisturized. Other than that the rest is genetics...some people have great elasticity and others not. My skin is loose but I didn’t weight train right away...wish I did. I am now. I’m 44 as well. But ill take the loose skin over how big I got any day!!

moisturize and hydrate!!!! I am 52 and already have quite a bit of loose skin to deal with. strength training and toning exercises will help as well. YOGA and Pilates are your friends! I also use Nivea skin firming lotions every day! twice a day!

    I finally got approved!!!

I think I just had to pay my co-insurance, which based on my insurance plan was $300. Nothing had to be paid upfront to my surgeon.

Congrats on your approval. My out of pocket was only $600 and I had to pay it all on the day of surgery.

    Restriction

I am just like you!! I had no hunger for the longest time and even now I only have the tiniest bit. I forced myself to eat after a while because I was getting shaky but stuck to about 4 tablespoons. Even now if I have a little more than that I don't get a tight feeling. Once or twice I accidentally ate too much when I didn't measure something and I felt nauseated, but still no tightness. So you're not alone. Sent from my Pixel 3 using BariatricPal mobile app

    kicking sugar

I think it would be easier prior to get used to what to expect after and do it slowly to avoid withdrawals. I practiced pre-op on how to eat post-op

    VSG /Dumping/Late Dumping

I have this happen whenever I eat rich food. It has taken me a little while to realize when it's happening. Now I stop eating at the first sign of ickyness. I also get what I call foamy. My body want to throw up, but only foam comes up. I feel terrible for an hour until it finally digests.

    VSG /Dumping/Late Dumping

Ok updates: This has absolutely continued to happen. It happened this Sunday evening and monday afternoon. Both times I was minding my business eating protein rich foods (greek yogurt w/ granola & chicken with roasted vegetables) I felt like i might pass out during the incidents but i didn't. Just wanted to cry a little. But i think it has now happened the very most with yogurt, so I may cut back or give it up completely. (It's not the granola... It was happening with every variation of a parfait i made. Only the yogurt is the common factor)
