    February 2019 Sleevers?

@cocoaakp2 surgery was fine but I was extremely nauseous and throwing up after all day long. Worst day ever . Now my bp is high and they think it may be from the pain meds. I’m not really in any significant pain, just sore and my head is pounding. Hopefully today goes better. Thank you!

Sean from My 600 lb Life dies

Link to story So sad I know a lot of people here watch the show so I figured I'd share. I never realized till I watched the show how hard obesity hits the body, and that even something as simple as an infection or cold can kill you when you're severely overweight. Sean is the latest example of that. Let's use this as a reminder to be happy that we are working on our health, and that slipping is never worth it.

Starting to gain the weight back help

Hi Tammy, Sorry to hear about your stroke! Glad that you are healthy again and ready to start back on track-that motivation is generally the hardest part about weight loss. I, unfortunately, have only recently been sleeved so I am unfamiliar with what advice might be the most helpful. This forum has been extremely helpful to me thus far so I am sure there will be lots of assistance. Keep your chin up!

I felt like that too even though I could hardly eat a thing...once you get to pureed foods... you'll feel full too fast and probably find yourself having to span your meal for hours to get the protein you need. The liquids just mess with your mind! Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

    The Pains Of Eating

Oh wow....sorry you were having such problems. If I ever see another protein shake again UGH. I am trying to avoid them. But I know some days I just cannot eat enough protein and I have to drink one. But so far so good today- no protein shake shall be needed!! LOL...... I threw up three times so far , so I get the not staying down- but all three times I knew what I did. 1- brussel sprouts- while soft and delicious, I ate too fast and I thnk they were just too much to digest this early 2- string cheese not chewed properly and was sort of stuck and 3- just eating too fast and too much of dinner a few nights ago .....live and learn

    Stomach flab.

@lori1963 Will this diet get rid of your stomach area? Yes and no You will lose weight and pant sizes. If you hold your weight in your stomach area you may have loose skin to deal with after weight loss. insurance may help cover plastics if you have documented rashes or mobility issues.

    Yogurt

I like the yoplait “yo” yogurt. It is not Greek but is made with the ultra filtered milk so is higher in protein and low in sugar. I have only tried the vanilla and lime so cannot speak for the other flavors but they sell out every time they are on sale. Some Greek yogurts are too sour for me, so this is a nice change.
