My BMI is currently 25.4 and I’m definitely still FAT.

Hot chocolate: 1 cup milk (I use fairlife for more protein), heated. 1 TBL unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 packet sugar substitute of choice, a drop of vanilla and a teeny-tiny bit of salt (like VERY little salt). Yum and counts as protein.

I'm confused ... 140 at 5'3" is normal BMI, not overweight

So I am just over 5 months post op revision to Bypass and I am coming to a block/stall/halt..... whatever it may be in my weight loss. I only lost 2.6 lbs last month. I do great during the day but in the evening and night my cravings and hunger/head hunger are out of control, which makes me snack and crave sweets. But, I really think that the sugar free tea that I am drinking in the evenings is causing my cravings to be worse. I only have water during the day, but after work and at night I drink this tea (which I have a bit of an addiction to) It is sugar free, calorie free, carb free, but when I drink it I seen to have really bad cravings for sweets and sometimes salty snacks. I believe it has splenda in it. I don't know if it is the time of day that is my issues or the tea triggering an issue. So lord help me I am going to go cold turkey. No tea for one week and see what happens. I dearly love my sugar free tea so I am a bit panicked but I have to get the scale moving again!!!!!

    Depression and anxiety

Speaking as a mental health counselor and a fellow sleever, you are all on the right track. Use distraction, get moving, music, journal, art...whatever helps your mood. The thing is we can't go to our comfort foods anymore. That's going to make this journey challenging as we figure out new (hopefully healthier) habits for when we are feeling emotionally challenged (depression, anxiety, stress, anger, etc.) Of course, I'm biased, but having someone to talk to like a therapist will be really helpful.

    NOT FULL & always hungry

Edited to add: I'm a sleeve, not RNY, but for my doc the following would apply to any of his patients - RNY or sleeve. Agree with fluffy that it may be the sliders. But you also mention drinking water with your egg and crackers. My doc doesn't want us to drink water until at least 30 minutes after we eat because it can push food out of the stomach faster than it should. So, if you're drinking water with your food, maybe try that? Also, sometimes carbs (the crackers) can make you hungrier - at least they do for me. Maybe try egg with a bit of some sort of other protein (breakfast meat/faux meat or something like that)?

    NOT FULL & always hungry

Most of those are sliders. And in my experience, it takes a while to feel the restriction from your RNY. I kinda "think" the nerves have to wake up. That's why it is really important to follow your plan and only eat the quantities it tells you to eat. Also, eating as low carb as possible will help with the hunger. Hang in there!
