    Diarrhea

So before WLS on my many diets I learned I was allergic to sugar substitute called aspartame and also soy. The side effect of overloading your body with this will give you diarrhea big time. If you over done it will feel like you have food poison. So now I use this to my advantage when I'm constipated, I will have some. LOL

I agree. This could be nothing, or it could be something—the best way to find out is to contact someone on your team. Do you have someone from your office you can contact after hours? It'll put your mind at ease to talk with someone.

I'm waiting to contact them, their call times are in about three more hours sadly. There is no one that I can call after hours, though I can always go to the emergency room if absolutely necessary. I just hate this waiting before I can ask all the questions that I need to. Normal to stall this early?

No, I stayed within 600-800 calories and got my liquids in. Wait, yes I did! I started going to the gym during and ever since Week 4!

Make sure you are at a healthy BMI and not underweight. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/obesity/in-depth/bmi-calculator/itt-20084938. Talk to your surgeons team about what foods/calorie range to eat to gain weight. Try to eat five or more small meals a day. This may help to raise calories without feeling sick.

    Normal to stall this early?

You really need to, weighing so often will tie you in "nots" and they biggest is I'M NOT LOSING! You lose in fits and spurts, not smooth like glass. Just the way it is, no use raging against it.

March 5th here! I’ve been dieting as well. I’m down 17 pounds since my first visit with the nutritionist in October.

Hi All, I was sleeved on 11/8/18 and my husband was sleeved on 11/29/18. As of today he is down from 280 (260 day of surgery) to 205 and he is concerned that he’s loosing too quickly. He’s also been struggling with nausea for most of the day. The surgeon’s office had him start Zantac 75 and peptobismal chewables to rule out just a stomach bug. (In addition to protonix for reflux since the surgery) He has an appointment with his general doctor and he’s going to bring his concerns up to her as well, but I wanted to see if anyone had a similar experience here. Thanks!
