    Awkward at Work

The only people outside of my house that I would share my WLS details with would be somebody that I felt would benefit from the surgery. Another guy I told about it at work that is about my size and is not getting the surgery wants to race now. Bring it on! LOL

    HUNGRY!

It gets better. I got tired of drinking, so I did a lot of sugar-free popsicles for my liquids and I was allowed to eat sugar-free jello and sugar-free pudding during my liquid phase. Just 5 more days until you get on soft foods, you can do this! 😊

One of my dearest friends lost her son involved in this same “game”. Such a tragedy. People need to come out and let others know about this horrible horrible loss, but few are comfortable talking about a suicide - accidental or not. Teenagers don’t always know of the possible consequences. We have to get the word out!

Well, I'm 3 days post op and I've had such a wonderful experience with him. I would strongly recommend him to anyone considering bariatric surgery, he's amazing.

    Dear Week 3 Stall

I forgot to take measurements before all this got going. I could kick myself because I know it is more dramatic than what shows on my scale! Don't get me wrong, 31lbs in 5 weeks is amazing but my clothes are falling off! lol

Thank you for posting this! My nutritionist brought it up last week too at a group meeting. It is really hard for me to take small bites and chew well. The mushier something gets in my mouth, the more skeeved out I get. But I know that I'll have to be very careful with this. It must be so hard when you're hungry to eat tiny amounts. It is so counter-intuitive even though you know how small your stomach is. I hope you're having a better day today!

When some things go wrong; take a moment to be thankful for the many things that are going right.

    An honest update. Weight Gain

Thanks for your post. I’m only 3 months out but I’m already feeling similar. I know I should have lost more weight than I have - but as you know “knowing what to do” and “doing it” are very different. I did join a gym right after surgery and I was going 3 days a week (up from NEVER exercising). Then my NUT told me I should be going more often. So what did I do? Start going more often? No - I stopped going! I don’t even know why. Part of me was like - I’m not doing good enough? Well screw it - I’m just not going to do it anymore. So I too am disappointed in myself. 😰

My first 30 minutes today walking

Remember if you still look cute at the end of an exercise session you may not be training hard enough.
