Thank you all for your replies and advice!! Good suggestions. I will pack and move in February and then have surgery in March after I'm all settled in my new house. Having surgery right before moving would be too much!

    Slow heart rate

What are you using to measure your heart rate? Fitbit and other trackers are notoriously inaccurate. My fitbit is reading 51 bpm right now which I know is wrong. Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Hair loss

I purchased a topper around 5 months and wear it every day. My hair has started to regrow now (almost 10 months post op), and I anticipate it being back within 6 months. I’m wearing it in my profile photo.

Not sure what the post care service is for you, but I’d go back to the tea and seek some help and referrals. prior to my surgery I did hypothearpy, this was helpful for me. I also keep a diary of my moods and what I eat. This helps with the emotional eating, although I do still have some old habits, that I’m continuing to work on. My other thing is to brush my teeth after I’ve eaten and sip on water til my next meal time. i wish you well, let me know how you go

    Non-Stim Diet Pills and WLS

Be wary if something seems too good to be true. And don’t fall for false promises from companies that just want your money. I wouldn’t believe the hype about shakes containing thyroid medication and would not consume any products containing them. The supplements industry is unregulated with lots of products that could be harmful to your body. Taking thyroid medication when it hasn’t been prescribed by a physician is very risky. And the assumption that taking extra T3 will result in weight loss and improved energy is false. That’s not how the endocrine system and thyroid gland work.
