I'm just going to touch on the parts about whether it will work. I'm 48 and perimenopausal so my metabolism is slow. I don't exercise very much beyond physical therapy and walking because my back is messed up. When my back was better, I saw a number of personal trainers. They helped me get in shape, but not lose much weight. I've found it relatively easy to lose 34+ lbs. in 2 1/2 months, much faster than on any other diet I have ever been on. I'm rarely nauseous and I've thrown up 2x since I got the surgery. I was very adept at using 2 oz. cups to make sure I didn't consume too much when I was healing. Now I eat pretty normally, just a lot less, less carbs, and more protein. I think WLS has changed a lot and some people have ideas based on older types of WLS surgery that weren't as easy to live with. Whatever you decide, good luck!

    Totally Zone Out

You remember way more than I do, but I'm ok with that. I probably don't need to know if I treated them all to my favorite rendition of some FloRida song!

If YOU are having second thoughts...wait and work out a bit to see if you can accomplish goals without surgery..But dont worry about the negative thoughts of others. This decision is for YOU no one else. Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

At 4 or 5 days you will be getting rid of stuff in your bowels that was there before surgery. Once that's gone, it will turn from rabbit turds to cow pies because protein shakes.

    Keeping food hot?

Back in the day, we used to have baby feeding bowls you put hot water into the bottom of. Shame they don't seem to make them anymore, I think they would be perfect.🍝

    Ya know what's awesome????

I am 2 weeks out and every time I get on the scale the number is lower. Once or twice it's been the same, but never HIGHER! When has that ever happened in my life? Nearly never! What a wonderful Christmas miracle that has been made available to all of us so we can get started on a losing journey! I already barely remember the pain and discomfort and am now just looking forward to being cleared to work out. I never could have done this on my own and I'm just so grateful!!!!!!!!!!!

    Did I forget anything??

Smooth move tea worksβ€” REAALLLLY WELL haha so be close to home for a few hours!! πŸ˜‚ Also be careful with the fruit- a lot of sugar so don’t eat it after surgery until cleared. Good luck - it’ll be here before you know it!
