    Stomach stretched back out?

Hi, I'm not an advanced member but why are you going back to eat again after 1 hour? Try drinking water or taking a walk...the surgery is only a tool and we have to do our part...we are all here because we have a problem with FOOD either overeating/binge eating, stress eating, emotional eating or whatever the case may be. Of course eventually if you keep overeating and then throwing up and going back for more food you will indeed ruin your tool...I suggest getting help from a therapist because it seems like you are slipping back into bad habits...We HAVE to learn to "Eat to live and not Live to eat" We all want you to succeed but you have to do your part like you did in the beginning. You lost weight before so you can do it again. Get some help and take care of yourself. I wish you all the best and we are here for you. ((Hugs))

    Ya know what's awesome????

I am 2 weeks out and every time I get on the scale the number is lower. Once or twice it's been the same, but never HIGHER! When has that ever happened in my life? Nearly never! What a wonderful Christmas miracle that has been made available to all of us so we can get started on a losing journey! I already barely remember the pain and discomfort and am now just looking forward to being cleared to work out. I never could have done this on my own and I'm just so grateful!!!!!!!!!!!

    Revision from VSG to RNY

I had the VSG 3/2015. I lost down to 148 was my lowest. After my body completely had a nervous breakdown itself including a stroke 8/2018 I gained back up to 212. I own this completely. I went from 12,000-20,000 a day to 3000 or less steps a day because of right side weakness and repetitive falls. Before I get all the way back to my SW of 276 I am taking action!!!! So here I am, licking my wounds, moving forward. Sent from my LM-V405 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Revision from VSG to RNY

Ok got it, I participate in a lot of threads and a convert was not too thrilled to find out that along with the conversion she lost restriction. I don't think many people have mentioned that anywhere that I have seen so I thought I would pass that info along. Many hopes of healing and returned good health to you, soon! πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ My brother had a stroke also, was far too young for it a well, but with PT, time and regular gym session you cannot tell at all. The only thing is his Aphasia is not completely gone, but you win what the Great Scratch Off of Life hands you! XOXO

    time frame for feeling good?

First of all, do what your surgeon said. With that disclaimer out of the way, listen to your body next. No driving for a few days after being put under--standard safety. Second, no driving under narcotics, right? If you are feeling super great by day four, and the strongest meds you are taking is Tylenol, then take a short drive if it pleases you. I had my sleeve done last February and I wasn't really ready to take a drive for a week. Not because I was popping pain meds, but because I felt like a melted poop pile and that was enough to make me feel like NO driving was safer for everyone. I had a revision to a bypass the Friday before Thanksgiving due to complications from my sleeve. Went in on Friday, came home on Sunday and I was ready to go out driving on Monday! Listen to your surgeon first, then your body next. Melted poop=no driving πŸ’©! HUGS! Feel better fast! Congrats!
