One of my favorite movies is Constantine, and after visiting Hell he needs to eat (stay with me) so Angela takes him to this awful skeezy corner cop diner and orders terrible food to which he constantly picks at over an intense conversation but never actually eats. After being through obesity Hell and back, you are still the hero. Happy Birthday 🎈

I'm only seven weeks post op, but I know from years of dieting that as soon as I stop measuring and logging all my food, I gain without even realizing. I know that measuring and weighing and logging has to be something I do pretty much forever to be successful. It is a pain in the ass. But I am worth it. And so are you! None of us want to make this investment of time and energy and money to gain in the end. This is a lifelong journey, and we are on it with you! I have a tag on my keychain with the doctors information as well as a “Nomination” type bracelet with the appropriate medical ID links on it. No BLIND NG tube, NO NSAIDS.

One nice thing about having a lot to lose is that a lot comes off pretty quickly. Three weeks into the pre-op diet and I’m down 32 pounds. I realize that percentage wise it’s not all that much but I’m going to go a head and take the “glass half full” approach.

At least HR didn't broadcast that you had a big box of Poo-Pourri waiting for you in the mailroom. Seriously, very unprofessional. Was this the HR person's first day on the job? Maybe it'll be her last soon... if she keeps violating HIPPA.
