    Making this public!!!

One of the biggest thing that I am concerned about as I begin this journey is regain. I promised myself while I was laying on that table that I was not going to ever do this to myself again. I promised myself that I was going to work on the things that I needed to work on that I am no longer going to use food as my lover as my companion as my confidant. So to ensure that I continue on this journey I decided that I was going to go public. It is so easy to stay behind the scenes but I know myself. So today I made a YouTube video and now it's kind of crazy and it's not really for other people is just for me to Chronicle my journey and to keep myself accountable. I know this might be viewed as real silly because really it is a personal Journey but I feel that at this moment I don't want to be a secret anymore. Many bad things has happened to me because of Secrets and going public is actually cathartic. I don't know of any other people feel the way that I do but I guess we all have our own way of coping and embracing this new Journey. Mine is still very very new. I just have been on here and I have to tell you that knowing that there's somebody out there and the responses and support that I have received has been amazing. So I'm thankful to this community for making me feel less isolated and feel welcomed. I hope that I can continue to be a blessing to somebody as you guys have been to me Sent from my SM-J737VPP using BariatricPal mobile app

Well, it definitely is heading closer to my surgery. I just had my psyche consult. The results were good and no recommendations. Just keep on what I am doing. I have preop physical on the 11 of December. Then I have a final decision appointment yet to be scheduled with the surgeon and nutritionist. I am looking at hopefully the middle to end of January

It seems like it's been forever since I started this journey back in April of this year but I'm happy to announce that I will finally be able to consider myself post-op after December 17th. Fingers crossed, hopefully my blood work and pre-op physical turn out good and everything goes as planned. Wish me luck!

    Appetite

Yes. It doesn’t bother me either. Unfortunately the onus is on us to follow a proper diet and exercise to continue to lose weight. Just like before surgery. The good news is after losing a large amount of weight it’s easier to stay on track.

    Protien and Broth!

I prefer Protein20 protein water from Sam's. Not quite as sweet. Also, the other ones can be mixed with sugar-free lemonade to lessen the sweetness. Don't get too concerned about your protein right now, hydration is the most important. It takes a lot of people a few weeks to get all their protein

Help am I Eating to much

@@westonmark It's not likely you will stretch your stomach - especially on full liquids. They move through your sleeve quickly. I would be sure to measure your food and only eat the suggested portion size. I am not sure what that is with full liquids but your paperwork should say so. I am on mushy foods and am allowed 1-2ozs every 2.5-3 hrs. I think you can have more full liquids.
