Anyone else bad at taking pictures?

I'm 4 months postop and am ecstatic with my weightloss so far. I'm down 70 pounds since I've started the whole process, and I did take preop pictures but I've hardly taken any pictures beyond a hand full of head shots. Anyone else happy with their body but still camera shy?

I'm right there with@KatFight. I was prepared for a horrible amount of pain, but had very little, as it relates to the surgery (because of the fibromyalgia). I was fortunate as I "only had the gas pain". I walked around the hospital all night the first night and it helped. I also used the pain pump the first night...probably more than I needed because I thought the pain would be unbearable. Best of luck to you! Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Tips please

You can dilute with more milk to help with sweetness. Not sure what protein since you didn't state which, not everyone uses the same products pre-op. But pretty much, pre-op is all about powering through stuff. Just do your best to stay on task and not stray from your pre-op diet.

I had my procedure back in 2/17 and also suffer with Fibro. I don't recall having any issues related to it. In fact, now that I've lost weight, I've noticed a reduction in my symptoms. I understand your concern and you should listen to your surgeon, but in my experience, I believe you'll be ok. Best of luck to you.

That's so awesome! I got the surgery because i was type 2 diabetic, getting high blood pressure and cholesterol. I reversed all of it just months after surgery. Best decision of my life. I wasnt this small in jr high school or elementary lol. I haven't exercised much at all. Really just a lot of walking. I want to hit the gym but trying to find time, money and motivation is hard so i try to get in as much activity as possible. I work retail so i'm on my feet all the time and running around for hours. Still managed to gain a bunch back. That's why i'm going back to basics. Cant afford to gain anything else. Not buying anymore larges lol. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

Hi bypass lady it does get better - this is the toughest patch by a country mile! The stitch is likely to be the gas they pump 8nto your abdominal cavity to separate your organs so they can do the surgery more easily. It does get absorbed, but it helps if you are up and about walking around, moving that gas. Are you drinking water? Way more important than food just now. Your best mantra just now - sip sip sip, walk walk walk. And dont forget, a general anaesthetic messes with your emotions. It will pass! And then the good stuff happens! Just stick to your programme...

    Do you feel more attractive?

Spot on with questioning motives. I think mostly the surgery has had a positive impact on my marriage, but that hasn’t come without some self-work with being more open about my feelings and needs. I noticed it seemed like he was being more affectionate post-surgery than he had been before... and it was really starting to get under my skin.. the possibility that he might like me more now... However, when I brought this up during a “discussion” and mentioned it was a bit of a mindf*ck, he told me it was really due to changing jobs and being a lot less stressed. So yeah- glad I finally opened up about it and didn’t let it just fester (which I’m prone to doing).
