    Vsg

I have turned to this message board for a while and have gotten great info from a lot of you, so now I want to encourage others. VSG on 3-14-18, have lost 105 since. By far the best thing I could have done for me and my family.

    It’s Go Time!!

Currently sitting in my pre-op room getting ready to have surgery. Ready to get on to the next stage and better my heath. Anyone else having/had surgery today?

Anyone else bad at taking pictures?

I'm 4 months postop and am ecstatic with my weightloss so far. I'm down 70 pounds since I've started the whole process, and I did take preop pictures but I've hardly taken any pictures beyond a hand full of head shots. Anyone else happy with their body but still camera shy?

    8 months after surgery

I am in the same boat. I have actually gained 15-20 pounds by grazing and making bad choices. I am trying to get it under control but once you slip it gets easier and easier to make poor choices.

I know it seems dumb to be worried about doing good. But I was just concerned cause I hadn't seen anyone else doing as good. Until I posted here of course. I'm happy it's going well don't get me wrong. I know everyone is different. It just seemed too good to be true. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using BariatricPal mobile app

    Hair Loss

LLysine is an amino acid and it was used in alopecia (male pattern baldness) clinical studies but also showed promising results in regards to Telogen Effluvium. Google the research and decided if its right for you. I took the standard dosage recommended on the jar. Safe Journey!

    Stricture

A narrowing, near-blockage of my opening from stomach pouch into my jejunem, the second portion of my small intestine. And although Sleevers don't get the same kinds, they can stenosis and Stricture also. It is a Card Game no one wants dealt into. You fill up quickly, or it is hard to swallow much, you puke back up even purees, it puts a crimp on trying to live your life. And Precious Pouch, my personal nemesis, she hurts all the time, sits there like an angry clutched fist in my chest/upper abdomen. Am I sorry I had this surgery? No not so much, I really resent how my body is now acting.Still looking for the rainbow🌈 and its Pot of Gold!🏊
