Incredible sadness

Hi KatieNthings, I’m so sorry that you are feeling sad, I’m pretty new as well, I had surgery just a little under 3 months and it’s kinda normal to feel emotional and sad early on, you just had major surgery and a lifestyle change so of course emotions will be all over the place which seems to be pretty normal right after surgery but it really does get so much better, once you start losing weight and noticing all of the positive changes physically and mentally you will start to feel that what you are going through now was so worth it. Unfortunately we cannot change what society thinks, confidence and happiness is up to us. People will always disappoint us but once you start feeling good about yourself and build up confidence, your whole life will start to change for the better you will exude in happiness and confidence. Once you’re comfortable with you others will be also. You can’t change other people you can only change yourself. Hang in there honey it only gets better from here. Chin up, you got this! And this whole community is here for you 😉

I would recommend calling your doctor to get it taking care of and see what is going on asap before it gets any worse. Good Luck to you!

    Craving pizza

Check the ingredients of the cauliflower crust, in my experience many have alternative flours and are actually less healthy for you and are also higher in carbs than regular pizza dough. Additionally as many have stated pizza this early post op,probably not the best decision, think of your new stomach and the acid that comes with pizza sauce. You could be causing severe damage to your new healing belly Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

    Craving pizza

Cauli-Power pizza is pretty damn good and since the "crust" is vegetables, it's ok to eat! They are expensive considering, but... when you want pizza and can't eat pizza... you can eat cauliflower crust pizza.

I understand the first or second day after the procedure you may be a little sore, hopefully it won't be too bad for you. Walking helps. Your doctor/nutritionist will advise on the coffe and wine. You are about a week away from your procedure, do you have a pre-op diet?

What article @ Sosewsue? All I see is your post, that ofFluffy Chix and the statement that I'm going to love something. Only Harry Potter was into invisibility cloaks. God knows I love many things in life but not a mystery I can't solve. So huh? Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Hi, I would love to talk and get to know any woman who has had the surgery and possibly date if there are sparks. It would be great to meet someone who has the same issues and understand everything we go through after surgery. I am 2.5 years after surgery. Can't wait to hear from you.
