I understand the first or second day after the procedure you may be a little sore, hopefully it won't be too bad for you. Walking helps. Your doctor/nutritionist will advise on the coffe and wine. You are about a week away from your procedure, do you have a pre-op diet?

I know my late husband would have been the same way, sad isn't it? I'm going thru RnY in a few months and I'm probably old enough to be your grandmother. Shoot there are days I think I could be Methuselah s granny dragging this fat body around but I'm gonna have a good tool to,help me continue on living. A guy I met pre surgery sent me a video of a concert. In the background he was telling his friend about me who I had also met. While describing me he called me "that big girl Kelly". His friend responded with oh yea she's really pretty! He said "she's lost over 50lbs she looks even better now". He doesn't even know I heard this Convo because be was so drunk on the video... I think I'm offended by the "big girl" comment. But at the same time he's the one who asked me for my number and took me out and asked me out numerous times after (which I now know why my instinct told me no way). If he's the one who asked me out numerous times how much could 50lbs really have bothered him? Needles to say I feel he's not in that great of shape to be referring to anyone as 'that big girl' lol

I am 56 and have started dating a lot. The thing is not wanting the men to know I was ever heavy.
