Hello - New Member Here :)

@CeeCee2018 . Always nice to meet a new forum friend. Don't be afraid to ask questions. I'm an expert at asking dumb ones, so don't let any topic stop you from getting to the bottom of what you want/need to know. We were all navigating unfamiliar waters in the beginning, so don't be shy. And, yes, the archives are a wealth of information. Of course, they lack that one-to-one contact with another forum member directly, but they can still provide you with a lot of details that you may not even know you needed to know! You came to the right place for bypass info. Actually, the bypass area would be better than this area, which is the general weight loss surgery area, but you'll find your way there. Ask if you need a roadmap. (You'll have to re-fold the map yourself, though. )

    Post gastric (Thrush)

Are you talking oral, vaginal or somewhere else? For me surgery of any kind can trigger it, it upsets the delicate balance of everything in the body. Speak to your Dr they should be able to give you something to clear it up

My belly button is infected AGAIN!!!

You should go to urgent care and get on antibiotics asap! That's not good.

Hit a major milestone on the scale today. Emotionally, I still feel like garbage (other than maybe a little leftover tiredness from surgery, it's nothing relevant to this forum), but I'm slightly happier garbage, anyway.

    Ugh! Halloween candy is here.

Hehehe...but I do say in passing...one of my old candy faves was butterfinger. I figured out a pretty smashing work around: Crush 2 Werther's Sugar free Hard Caramels in a plastic bag and transwer to a small microwave bowl. Nuke in intervals and stir in between, until melted. When melted, stir in 2 tbps peanut butter. Separate peanut butter candy into 4 pieces and place on parchment. Freeze for about 20-30 minutes. While candy freezes, in separate bowl melt Lily's sugar free dark choco chips with a tiny bit of cream until thick and melty. Drizzle with melted chocolate. Put back in the freezer for a butterfinger attack. Eat 1 at a time.

I guess the writers have their fingers on the pulse of our culture. Le Sigh People still think it's elective to choose better health, by any means necessary...
