    Phys evaluation

I disliked the one I had before when I was asked How Long I had hated my Mama? Never said I did, why would you ask such a thing_ Wished I had said something witty l8je" I will forgive you for asking such a question if you will forgive me for not answering!" But they was a former attempt in another plan. This time in April I had a wonderful psych appointment with a staff member of that departments Dr Kramer, and we actually became friends , he is still monitoring my case and if I ever need consouling again, I have only to call him, gave me his card. Super, super person! That person, using the term loosely, was someone they contracted in, and I can only hope they terminated her contract, a real piece of work, not worth the powder to blow her up. I usually am kind, sweet tempered but if I ever saw her in passinf, she better move fast because the lighter I get, the quicker I will be on my feet.!👊😛💢

Yes, it asked several times about random personal things like "is your favorite activity ...." I do remember the question about the poets as well lol. I was assuming that they were make sure we were reading all the questions and not just marking stuff down. My daughter had to do a similar test for ADHD and she got tired of the repetitive questions and just started marking things...it concluded that she was anorexic...the kid weighs 200 lbs(she was 18).

The thought of a catheter.. scary!

Then why when I was in LPN school did we all have to learn? And in my state it's RN are the only ones permitted to start an IV but LPN can remove them if they have been.taught.

I certainly sympathize with you and your struggles. When I had my first dietician appointment post op I was told that I hadn't lost enough and needed to cut back to between 300 and 400 calories. It was quite depressing. However, my bariatician said I was doing fine, as did my surgeon this week. They both told me to expect to lose 1 to 2 pounds a week. To me that doesn't seem fast enough and that I lost at a quicker pace before the surgery. My surgeon told me that I can do 500 to 600 calories per day and to make sure I get at least 50 g of protein. That is what I aim for right now until I am told otherwise. It isn't easy because I get cravings all the time. Sugar free jello helps, as do almonds. Be happy and proud with what you have accomplished. WLS is hard work and you are doing it!

My pre-op does allow for one meal a day! Haha. I am just being a baby. Made it through Day 1 alive. Since I am starting early, I don't have the 3rd shakes (I only have enough for the 15 days, since they are Advanced Recovery shakes), so I had 2 eggs in place of where I will be having my 3rd shake next Tuesday. Figured that was a good substitute. Every day that goes by I will get more confident and it'll be easier! Counting down..

I got sleeved 10/10/18 and still in hospital hopefully getting discharged tmrw. I packed a book bag full of stuff and I only used my chapstick, phone charger, face wash and toothbrush. FOR ME I find it easier being in the gown. It's the easiest when I go pee to just have it opened and not have to worry about pulling down and up my underwear since it really does hurt sitting down and getting up. Also I found it easier with the gown when I took a shower, just slip off then slip on a new one but again that's me. Best of luck to you!

    Protein water?

I just bought the grape premier drink from Target. It's pretty decent. Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

So I did not disclose why I was going out on leave from work. Just said I was having some stomach surgery/gastric issues. So, my coworkers just sent me a beautiful edible arrangement. That’s what I get for not sharing. Thank goodness it doesn’t have chocolate covered fruit or I would’ve cried. But the fruit looks lovely and delicious. Hubby and kids will enjoy. I did snag some pineapple to freeze later on for my protein smoothies. I still want to bite into that fruit though! (Sigh)
