    Breakdown of timeline?

I did the online seminar and heard back from the bariatric center the next day...had my surgery consult about a week later and began my insurance hoops...I had already started a dr monitored diet about a month before so I continued with that and will have my final appt Tues....meanwhile, i've had the sleep study and psychological eval...I'd already had the required Endoscopy. Assuming i've lost the requisite 10% of my weight, everything will go back to insurance for final approval next week and then I will finally get my surgery date. It's been about 6 month thus far. It's a process, but be patient and it will fly by.

I disliked the one I had before when I was asked How Long I had hated my Mama? Never said I did, why would you ask such a thing_ Wished I had said something witty l8je" I will forgive you for asking such a question if you will forgive me for not answering!" But they was a former attempt in another plan. This time in April I had a wonderful psych appointment with a staff member of that departments Dr Kramer, and we actually became friends , he is still monitoring my case and if I ever need consouling again, I have only to call him, gave me his card. Super, super person! That person, using the term loosely, was someone they contracted in, and I can only hope they terminated her contract, a real piece of work, not worth the powder to blow her up. I usually am kind, sweet tempered but if I ever saw her in passinf, she better move fast because the lighter I get, the quicker I will be on my feet.!👊😛💢

Yes, it asked several times about random personal things like "is your favorite activity ...." I do remember the question about the poets as well lol. I was assuming that they were make sure we were reading all the questions and not just marking stuff down. My daughter had to do a similar test for ADHD and she got tired of the repetitive questions and just started marking things...it concluded that she was anorexic...the kid weighs 200 lbs(she was 18).

    Advice!!!

My best advice is to not compare yourself to others. This is your journey. Food advice...don't overbuy. Your tastebuds change after surgery. I loved premiere shakes before surgery, after surgery they were difficult to digest. I now use Unjury protein powder. You will find what works best for you. Many brands provide samples. I lived on samples the first few weeks. Best of luck to you. Remember we are all here for you.

I got sleeved 10/10/18 and still in hospital hopefully getting discharged tmrw. I packed a book bag full of stuff and I only used my chapstick, phone charger, face wash and toothbrush. FOR ME I find it easier being in the gown. It's the easiest when I go pee to just have it opened and not have to worry about pulling down and up my underwear since it really does hurt sitting down and getting up. Also I found it easier with the gown when I took a shower, just slip off then slip on a new one but again that's me. Best of luck to you!

    Texture eater :(

It went well for me, but the trick is to thin it with broth or milk or whatever until it is at a thickness you can tolerate. Then gradually work your way up. But I could do soft mashed potatoes from the first day of purees.

    Advice. 10 weeks away

Put a bottle of "poo-pourri" and a pack of flushable wet-wipes in your purse and in every restroom in your home.
