Thanks for responding. My husband is very supportive and it happened to be a situation that I’m sure I’m going to be in a lot whether it’s home or work. I’m glad I was able to overcome. This was not a negative situation and my family shouldn’t have to suffer because of my personal demons a.k.a food. If they occasionally want to indulge in chic-fil-a, which is the worst we do in fast food, then I have to be okay with that. If I was not okay I would’ve said no when my hubby asked and he would’ve eaten later without me or dropped me off. Either would’ve been inconvenient options so it is what it is. As for packing healthy snacks it wasn’t that kind of party nor was that on my mind when getting 3 and 2 year old girls dressed and hair done to leave the house. My husband is my biggest fan when it comes to weight loss and this journey and I’m sorry if others don’t have a supportive spouse. That is simply not my case.

    Received A Bill Finally

bypass the dr's office and go to your insurance company. I received a bill from the hospital for $12800 and it is because they filed it as my surgeon, anesthesiologist and hospital as all being out of network! I had to literally call them weekly to make sure they were staying on top of it and getting everything refiled and in the end they sent ME a check for over payment of approximately $98. I researched the surgery for 2.5 years before doing it and knew exactly what I would be responsible for out of pocket and kept ALL receipts and correspondence information between myself, the hospital, dr's office and insurance company. The dr's office doesn't care whose oversight it is as long as they get paid. Contacting your insurance company and making sure they filed everything correctly is worth a shot. Good luck!

My nut told me that if you are following the plan and you hit a stall to just keep going. She said they are expected and the weight loss will be like going down steps not sliding down a slide. She also said if you are in a stall and see a small gain not to panic.. she said if you are getting all your protein your body is building muscle not fat. Then the numbers will start going down again.

If you've read about stalls, then you'd know that the 3rd week is pretty much a given. If you are following your instructions, and getting as much water as you can... then don't worry about it.

    Surgiversary!

I had my revision one year ago today. I’m shocked and amazed at the changes that have occurred this year. My boobs have disappeared, I lost a lot of hair... but more importantly I’m no longer overweight. I still have a belly (and lose skin) but I’m learning to love myself just as I am. I’m so thankful to be on this road. Now I just need to get my butt back in the gym, good news is that it is within walking distance now. No regrets. ❤️

I am happy to answer any questions. From 356 to 207lbs. Who is a happy boy? That would be me. Best decision I've made in my life. Healthier, more confident, better family and social life. Thumbs up all around from moi. Loose skin, hell yeah, does it bother me, not really. It's part of the package. Love y'all, sorry I have not been around a while. I have a life now

Many times people notice but say nothing. Bless these people. Once the comments start, they don’t stop. People constantly pressure me for precise amounts of pounds I have lost. It’s none of their business. Not trying to be rude but your average person can’t really fathom what you weighed or how many pounds you lost. For example a coworker said to me....wow you must have lost like 30 pounds....

This is 100% true. Vanity sizing has gotten crazy. I am fitting into some size 12 dresses, when I should be a 16 at this size, if memory serves me right. I also wonder what I will be wearing when I reach goal. 😳
