    Do I or don't I

I had RNY gastric bypass surgery over 5 years ago. It was probably one of the best decisions I ever made. Here is a link to my experiences with the surgery. http://www.breadandbutterscience.com/Surgery.pdf

    Do I or don't I

You'll definitely find a goldmine of information here. Read, compare, question, and be a fearless self-advocate. We're here to help if you have specific questions, but no one can give a one-time post that would be enough to prepare you for everything you'd want or need to know. Don't be a stranger here. But do something. Take some action. Today. Right now. It's good that you were committed to exercise in the past because that will be a key part of your post-surgical regime if you decide to move forward. Oh, and.... welcome.

2-3 days post op... still sick

Also ask for a scopolamine patch for the nausea. Stops it dead in its tracks.

At a loss, looking for support

Good Luck. I am not sure if posting links to go fund me is allowed here but we all know the struggles of being obese. I hope you find a way to get ahold of your health.

It was actually my doctor who suggested the surgery in the first place, based on my health conditions. I had no trouble getting a referral, though I didn't really need one.

    Swelling?

Yup. Invasive surgery where gasses are pumped into your abdominal cavity to inflate it will do that LOL. Use your Incentive Spirometer every hour to help reduce the gasses. The rest of the swelling will subside as you heal.

    Taking Multiple Pills Post Surgery

Doing fine but one came through unchanged, since several are the same size I will forever wonder which it was. An no, I did not keep it around long enough for an in-depth interview, it just went bye bye down the River of No Return!✋✋💩
