I wasn’t aware that this was disabled for certain groups. It’s now enabled again. Thanks for letting me know about this.

I feel great! So many small victories, too many to mention but I will never regret having this surgery, it has saved my life. I have gone from a size uk 26 to an 18! really chuffed with that and even better, a friend of mine has just given me a load of brand new size 18 clothes which look fab on me, for my holiday to Greece next week

    1 year approaching in October

I will be 1 year out on October 6th. I've reach and went below what doctor has given as a goal. I went from 298 to current weight of 132. I am very pleased with the progress I have made throughout this past year. It is a mind set you have to live with forever. I have been given a highly helpful tool with my sleeve and thank God daily for it. Hope all you other sleevers are having as good of progress as I have had!

You bet.. It's considered water so it will count towards your water intake as well. Good luck!

    How do you Move it?

Leslie Sansone is NOT high intensity at all. It's a great program for someone that just wants to move. IMHO it get boring after a while and I want something more challenging. (Even though I don't have the energy to get though a whole program LOL). Slim in 6 will have some moves that she will show you a modified version of the move so I like that. I really like the HIIT programs. I just search various videos and some have modified moved and others don't. The thing about HIIT is that it's doesn't get boring and you can challenge yourself as you build stamina to get more reps in. My surgeon has cleared me for core work, abs, etc and said I could get as intense as my body would allow.

    Vrylar Anyone?

Not at all, it made me giggle And I wasn't offended necessarily by the other individual, but it did kind of make it sound like that's all it's used for when I think pretty much everyone knows these types of medicines can be helpful in a variety of diagnoses. Don't want ya'll thinking I'm flying off the deep end I might end up calling my surgeon's office just to clear it with their nurses/him. The prescribing doc is thrilled about my sleeve, but admittedly doesn't know a lot about it!

VSG on 8/28. But in pain.

Sounds like some toxin build up maybe? Really push the water intake to see if that helps flush things out.

It is true, we all have different tolerances to pain. What may be excruciating for one person, may feel uncomfortable for the next person and there is no way to gauge how you will react if you have never had surgery. It is okay to feel uncomfortable and you will survive it. The human body has processes in place to cope with discomfort, along with medications you will receive. Most of us are up walking mere hours after surgery. Sure we aren’t skipping for joy, but we are able to move, use the restroom, etc.
