Scale said 185! Same weight from high school. So many ups and downs. Someone asked what the hardest part was....I am 46, married 18 years (all very heavy) and did not hand the attention very well. (Even after people said your hormones will go crazy). I’m a guy. What hormones. Oh well. Glad to finally hit my goal. Feel stronger and healthier today than at any time during the last 25 years.

Gahhh! Ladies!! When will we ever have a GOOD solution to this *seemingly* simple problem?? I think I'm gonna look more into the laser solution...I think with laser I guess it's about managing the expectations. I don't need it to be perfectly smooth, I just need to stop having 5 o'clock shadow, lol!

    Worlds longest stall

2 years post op and lost nearly 200 pounds. I have been in a stall for almost a year. I fluctuate about 10 pounds (gain and then loss) but I cannot get below the 190 mark. I have tried everything! I workout 5 days a week, try to stay at 1200 canals although with the excercise calorie adjustment it is usually around 1500c. I feel EXTREMELY guilty when I put anything bad in my mouth but then there a days ( usually once a month) when I will go on a mini binge and have little snacks throughout the day that are completely unhealthy. I love the way I feel but I still have fat brain and I am EXTREMELY frustrated that I can’t drop below 190! Btw...this is my first post, I usually just troll

    Any other Minnesotans out there?

I am in MN as well. There are certain fair foods I have tried. They were mostly protein. That way you don’t have to miss going to the fair and go with a group if you need a taste just take a bite of a friends food. My nurse is all about not depriving yourself. I eat healthy 98% of the time!!

My bag is packed! Surgery in the AM

Well I am next week, September 5th, but I will take a corner of the Well Wishes for myself. Hey hope for the best, work with the not'-the-best and make this journey your own. Step by Step into the future🌈 and may there be only sunny days ahead!

I have one word for you: LASERS! Better than electrolysis, way more effective! I did it about 8 years ago and within 4 treatments everything was GONE. I go back about once a year to do a touch-up cycle, and it is absolutely worth it. I was so thrilled that I also lasered my legs; my leg hair was so thick and coarse that even when I shaved it, you could see the stubble through the top layers of skin like ground pepper sprinkled on my shins, but I haven't even touched up on it in years and I have maybe four hairs that come in very thin. I'm in the same maybe-PCOS boat as you are, with all the symptoms except the actual damn cysts. When I finally snapped and started the lasers it was because I wasn't just irritated by shaving, I was getting a ridiculous number of ingrown hairs no matter what I did. And though I really hate to say it: I think my facial hair's come back a little stronger than it used to post-op. But maybe that's just my body temporarily freaking out, I don't know! And I'm going to zap it back into oblivion soon. One caveat: laser works best on dark hair and light skin. As a Translucent-American with very dark hair, this made me pretty much the ideal candidate; I can't say if Irish redheads or dark-haired Kenyans would have the same luck. For them, electrolysis might be the better bet. I know some groups don't mention that up front, so buyer beware.

    Mosquito Bites??

Totally not WL related rant coming. So what is with all these mosquito bites I am now getting? *scratch**scratch* I usually can skate through a summer with only a few and Saturday night I was outside for a few hours WITH bug spray on and those darn bugs ate my feet like I was throwing a party just for them! Seriously, *scratch**scratch* I can barely even wear shoes as I had flip flops on and the only part of my feet that are unscathed are the bottoms.*scratch**scratch* UGH!! *scratch**scratch* Those nasty little blood suckers must think I am tasty now that I have lost weight. *scratch* *scratch*
