18 months and hit my Goal! It was a journey

Scale said 185! Same weight from high school. So many ups and downs. Someone asked what the hardest part was....I am 46, married 18 years (all very heavy) and did not hand the attention very well. (Even after people said your hormones will go crazy). I’m a guy. What hormones. Oh well. Glad to finally hit my goal. Feel stronger and healthier today than at any time during the last 25 years. -

Let your body heal. Your belly is healing and your body is holding air from surgery. From what I've read liquids can't stretch your belly because they just pass through. Flatulence is good, it's going to help relieve the gas pains in your belly. Call your surgeon and voice your concerns with them. I'm only repeating what I learned from others here. Either way Congrats on your surgery and best of luck to you sir!!!! -
1 pointMotion sickness on a coaster, now that sounds like a party. I don't see why it would be an issue a little while out but check with your surgeon/team. Good luck getting back to the rides and HAVE FUN!!!

Get the dr office to resubmit with an acceptable code, appeal, appeal appeal. Get insurance coordinator from bariatrics to help - tell them if they don't you will be seeking reduced payments - it is in their interests of getting paid to help you repeal this. Don't give up. -

1 pointI am in MN as well. There are certain fair foods I have tried. They were mostly protein. That way you don’t have to miss going to the fair and go with a group if you need a taste just take a bite of a friends food. My nurse is all about not depriving yourself. I eat healthy 98% of the time!!

You're looking at it the wrong way....You're waiting for your new life! And trust me, it's going to be better than the old one. Unless you are underweight, weight loss is a positive for everyone. You'll be fine and it's time to get excited about this new chapter!!!
