I am happy to answer any questions. From 356 to 207lbs. Who is a happy boy? That would be me. Best decision I've made in my life. Healthier, more confident, better family and social life. Thumbs up all around from moi. Loose skin, hell yeah, does it bother me, not really. It's part of the package. Love y'all, sorry I have not been around a while. I have a life now

    Scar Treatment

I'm super lazy too, but the tape stays on a week at least, so it's not much trouble to use.

    Scar Treatment

I've done a quite a bit of research on scar treatment, as I plan to have plastics later this year. as @GreenTealael mentioned, silicone tape, or gels are universally recommended by cosmetic surgeons. They're the only treatment that has actually been clinically proven effective. I used silicone tape soon after the scabs came off. I used the tape consistently, up until about 2 weeks ago. All I have left are thin white lines with a small amount of light pink/purple around them (I am very fair). Most people wouldn't notice unless I pointed them out. This is what I used. I still have TONS left over for when I get plastics. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002VE9AL8/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

On the way home from the hospital the day after my RNY my husband had an emergency at his office, Since it was on our way home we stopped in and he needed to stay for a few hours doing damage control. I just left him there and drove myself home. My teen was still on Summer break and around to fetch and carry if I needed her to and of course my Service Dog is always eager to pick up what I drop or need carried but really after the first couple of days, other than being sore, everything is managable.

    Craving pizza

Cauli-Power pizza is pretty damn good and since the "crust" is vegetables, it's ok to eat! They are expensive considering, but... when you want pizza and can't eat pizza... you can eat cauliflower crust pizza.
