Don't worry about it. You are swollen and healing. Focus on your intakes and rest right now. Worry about the weight loss after you have healed.

    Sweet Tooth

Can you have sugar free popsicles or jello? Those have been my go to not sure if you’re allowed any of these things but I mix sugar free jello pudding with heavy whipping cream (instead of milk) and make a fluffy dessert. It satisfies my ice cream sweet tooth and I legit only have about 2 tablespoons and I am done. I only crave something sweet like this once a week so I make it and then my husband ends up eating it cause I never really touch it lol

    Look what I just saw

Yeah, those of us who've done Atkins in the past know that aisle well Yes, they've always been there (or others like them). But like I said, beware of sugar alcohols. Not everyone can tolerate them.

You can have lots of things. It just depends on how you want to spend your calories. But as an occasional treat, I'm sure these are not the worst choice out there. But beware, Atkins products use a lot of sugar alcohols and a lot of people get dumping with them.

I will suggest buying a crockpot , and looking up meals for it. You basically put everything in and set it- come home to good food . But YouTube is also a great place to go for free training advice on how to get started with a program.

My plan 2 shakes a day = 60 grams of protein and 64 oz of fluids jello, water, lemonade, popsicle, broth, for 10 days only. I'm 5 days post op haven't made goal yet, but I'm trying. The hardest thing for me is to eat when I'm not hungry there are times that 2 or 3 hrs will go by with nothing to drink. Sent from my SM-N920T using BariatricPal mobile app

    Slowly going down

Be patient. Your body is going to lose at it's own rate. Slower is often better. Going too low calorie or exercising to much can trigger a stall. Just stay on track and you'll get there.

Unless you are really not sure of what you can eat then I would not bother. She is probably going to say the same thing she has already told you and make you log your food which I hate logging.

It's been 2 years now since RNY. I have lost 180lbs. I am feeling great though i have had a few bumps I would still do it all over again. I did have a internal petersens hernia which caused me to have an intuspection and resulted in needing a bowel resection to get ride of some necrotic bowel. It wasn't fun but they said it was because I lost a lot of weight pretty quickly. I do a great deal of walking and now have more focus on working out with weights to build more muscle. I wear a size medium shirt and size 9 jeans my shoe size even dropped an entire shoe size.
