    1 week post op...feeling great

Surgery was 5/29, so far great, no sickness, no pain pills needed. My surgical glue is already starting to peel off, i go back to work tomorrow. I've lost 31 pounds since my first day of my liquid diet. So 31 pounds lost in 21 days. I feel great, I have tried small bites of yogurt, mashed potatoes, refried beans, and sugarfree vanilla pudding. Nothing upset my stomach. Im still on liquid diet other then just a small bite here and there. Getting my water, and trying to get all my protein in daily. I love how I feel, im excited to see how the months to come go. Good luck to everyone on the pre op side, and good luck to us all on post op side. Keep us posted. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using BariatricPal mobile app

Gained 4 kg in 9 days!

From what I have read, that is too few calories for someone three months post op. You won't have put on fat weight, it is more likely fluid retention plus possibly bulk from the extra food. It is only temporary, a bit like when people go through the post op diet stages, as they progress they typically have a stall or gains, but once their bodies adapt weight loss kicks in again. While WLS does typically result in a lower calorie intake, you don't want to go so low that it comprises your health: body using muscle for nutrition - you want to maintain muscle as much as possible, hair loss, lack of energy etc. Bear in mind, now that you are already in the healthy BMI range, that weight loss will be lower per week than it was immediately following your surgery. Please do listen to your nutritionist.

    Thank me later

Yes I guess it would but pull it up on. Google Play and look over what portions of your phone systems it wants access to! I considered it until then, the originator asked everything except permission to county,i freckles on your backside and he expects you to make multiple purchases starting at $4 and going up, sounds suspiciously like a malware purveyor to me! 👎

I know right? who would have thought fruit could be a problem but it was. I have lost 7.7 pounds this week as of today! They moved me to berries and green apples only and that did the trick.

Every time I stall, I have to cut the fruit. Its grueling, but necessary. It always solves the problem.

    The basic need

Good advice...from a woman...in the Guys’ Room. Plus think of how awkward it would be at your follow-up visits if she said “no” (which she almost certainly will).

Just to clarity... fiber was my “if you are looking to carbs” option. Don’t misunderstand. Additional protein and healthy fats are the suggestions that fit with my plan and they were my first suggestions. They make me feel far more full than any carbs even those with fiber. In fact carbs, even complex carbs with fiber have a tendency to make me hungrier. I know you have a different plan, Creek, and I don’t know what the posters surgeons plan was.
