    3 month anniversary

I haven't posted in a while and realized it's been 3 months today since my sleeve! Life has been so different since surgery. I was exhaustes all of the time until about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Now I have all kinds of energy. I've been exercising since about week two. I ride my bike or walk. That's the extent of my exercise. I've lost pretty consistently since surgery, averaging 2 pounds a week. I'm eating approximately 800-1000 calories a day and at least 70 grams of protein. I still drink shakes-at least one a day, and sometimes 2. I still struggle to get water in. I'm lucky to get 24 ounces a day. I went from a tight size 18 pants to a loose 14. I even fit in a size 12 last weekend. Everyone tells me how young I look now. I'm not used to all the attention that I get, and it makes me quite uncomfortable. But it's to be expected. I'm so glad I did the surgery, and I'm even happier that hubby did it with me. Btw-he's down to 279 from 364!! HW 241 Pre Surgery Weight 3/1/18: 228 CW 182

    Travel on soft foods. . . .?

Tuna packets. Some of the shops in airports do sell the hard boiled eggs or cheese sticks

Congrats on your weight loss success! You may have gained a little but you recognize the problem and you're catching it before it's an even bigger issue. Definitely track calories and reduce carbs. Maybe switch a meal with a protein shake. You can do this! Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app

Conrats on your surgery being behind you and I wish you a speedy recovery. I won't sugar-coat the first week or two. For a lot of us, it's really difficult. However, you're doing this so that you're better off for the whole rest of your life! Your pain will subside. You'll learn how to use your new tool. You'll get healthier than you have been in years. A little suffering now is worth it, right? You can do this!

I have to wait at least 36 days and then introduce one food 2 ozs at a time. But 2 weeks in, still no real hunger.

    Sleep question for post op.

There is no such thing as too much sleep, only too little. Rest for as long as you need, whenever you need and don't be too concerned about it, you'll be fine!

Wow! What an emotional ROLLER COASTER! Amazing to be pregnant after trying so long, but timing kinda off. Call your surgeon and OB. Make sure you talk to the nutritionist too. Your team can get you through this. 🤗 Keep us posted!
