    Big milestone today!

Woke up this morning and did my daily weigh-in and was excited (and relieved) to finally be under 200lbs! I've been bouncing around the 200 mark for over a week. Weight is now 199.6...just barely in there, but I'll take it! lol. Getting below 200 was my first major goal since having surgery on Jan. 11 (down from 243 day of surgery). I've also gone from a 38-40 in pants size, down to a 34 inch waist. Really glad I had this surgery!

Lmao 🤣🤣 AshAsh1 sorry but that's funny. I have a FUPA (Fat Upper P***y Area) also it is very fluffy. I watched a few ladies on Youtube talk about body changes and that was one of them. After this surgery everything loses weight. Hmmm I forgot about that but thanks for the question now I have to check to see if mine losses the fatfat. Hunger after drinking 20+ oz water

Many times I can get very, very hungry after drinking Water and while drinking water. I admit that my meal/snack times are not ideal and can be erratic. All water I drink is near ice cold or cold and from thermos that starts out with ice if that makes a difference. Is this normal, or is it time to eat a meal/snack? Usually I'll have a morsel of food if not near a meal/snack time and it does a good job or satisfying the hunger, and provides immediate relief. And is this hunger mental or physical? I really can't tell what is mental or physical hunger. Sent from my XT1609 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Coffee

I am on day 2 of Pre-op, so no more creamer or sugar. I am using Splenda or Stevia for sweetner and Almond Milk or premier protein for creamer. I preferred powder creamer. and am not happy with the taste of my coffee the last 2 days. Anyone have suggestions? I could do without sweetner all togather if I found a creamer that was good enough. Any advice? Has anyone tried the Inspire powder creamers?

    Why am I hungry???

Unfortunately I’m not so lucky. And I’m not craving bad foods either. I was able to learn the difference between head and real hunger (for myself) during the year long diet before surgery. This is that definitely empty tummy hunger. Luckily I haven’t craved anything bad, but just the thought of some cottage cheese or cream of wheat sounds delicious. I did get lucky that I already ate what I’m supposed to eat through the stages of recovery and lifelong. Not big on fried food or super sweet things. I ate well, I just ate too much lol. Anyway, I wish that I wasn’t hungry this early, but what can I do? It does have the benefits of getting in the liquids and protein I need during this phase, so there’s that at least. Finally a fill!!

Now that have had my fill , and avoided a big problem like band revision I'm totally paranoid when eating. I have been on mushy food yesterday and today and I'm nervous if I'm chewing food good enough so it doesn't form another food pouch. I had a band for years and now I'm a nervous nelly with mushy food and am afraid to eat solid food. Is it even possible to form a food pouch with mushy foods like mashed potatoes or retried beans. Silly question but now I'm totally nervous to eat anything. I guess it's all in my head and I'll get over it over time
