Is it any good? The idea of the liquid mixture sounds better to me than capsules.

    Coffee

I am on day 2 of Pre-op, so no more creamer or sugar. I am using Splenda or Stevia for sweetner and Almond Milk or premier protein for creamer. I preferred powder creamer. and am not happy with the taste of my coffee the last 2 days. Anyone have suggestions? I could do without sweetner all togather if I found a creamer that was good enough. Any advice? Has anyone tried the Inspire powder creamers?

We understand your concern. Most of us have the same problem. Don't box yourself into a corner thinking that you've got to have everything figured out before surgery. This is an on-going process of learning and behavior modification. In some ways, our new "tool" is the teacher, i.e. dumping or foamies UGH! In addition, find local support groups. Mine has a speaker every month and lots of people with whom to discuss the ins and outs of life after surgery. Start going to those meetings now. Take advantage of every learning opportunity provided by your doctor's office. You never know when an "aha!" moment might hit! Most of all, if your insurance covers it, try going to a counselor that specializes in eating disorders. It's even better if you can find one with bariatric experience. I plan on seeing a counselor to work through my food issues, because, like you said, that's how I got here.

I feel better because that’s a special date[emoji7]. My doctor office were trying to schedule me for May 24th or 30th. Which was three weeks from the day I found out my insurance approved me. It was a shock so I pushed it back to June 14th so I can process and get myself trained.

    Finally a fill!!

Now that have had my fill , and avoided a big problem like band revision I'm totally paranoid when eating. I have been on mushy food yesterday and today and I'm nervous if I'm chewing food good enough so it doesn't form another food pouch. I had a band for years and now I'm a nervous nelly with mushy food and am afraid to eat solid food. Is it even possible to form a food pouch with mushy foods like mashed potatoes or retried beans. Silly question but now I'm totally nervous to eat anything. I guess it's all in my head and I'll get over it over time

Update: still didn’t get to submit. The cardiologist sent my results to my surgeon but not my EKG tracing or the actual clearance. Their system was down today so now I have to wait until Monday to see if they have sent it to my surgeon’s office 🤦🏽‍♀️
