There is evidence that smoking marijuana is harmful to lung tissue so it is understandable that some health care professionals would frown upon such practices from a health perspective whether it is legal or not. That is as far into the topic as I’m going. If you are a grown adult and it is legal and you are consuming within the bounds of the law then so be it.

    Sugar

I’ve had sugar. Ate a popsicle that wasn’t sugar free by accident. It was added to my box by my husband who is working on emptying the freezer and I grabbed it by mistake. I had no issue at all. Nothing. I was shocked.

    Sugar

Some of us can tolerate it while others can't. Is your fear sugar because of dumping syndrome or weight gain? If I have sugar and carbs I crave them more. I don't get sick from it in small amounts. I also feel bogged down when I don't eat healthy.

    Eeeekkk!

Endoscopy is super easy and super quick. You're out for about 20-30 minutes and you wake right up. I had mine done at 10AM and was able to go to lunch with hubby on our way home from the appointment. Please don't obsess about it...it's a piece of cake.

It surely does not But for surgery purposes I would suggest switching to edibles to give your lungs a break and then you can safely tell them you have stopped smoking HW 270 SW 238 CW 188 VSG 11/7 [emoji471][emoji471][emoji471]

Costco: suggestions on what to buy.

My go-to items at Costco are protein shakes, protein bars, ground turkey, frozen chicken burgers, frozen green beans, vitamin water zero, cheese sticks and fresh fruit/veggies. I also get my vitamin D, probiotic, gasX and Miralax there. Yep - we shop at Costco far too frequently!

    High Protein Snack Foods

With that fish in foil and lemon add some baby spinach leaves on top - works for salmon too.

Some tips: Chewing: I used an app called "Slow Mow Eating Time" to practice. Its an easy habit to pick up! And after surgery, you will naturally be cautious. Water: I eat 4 meals a day -- my surgeon had us start this early in the process. In between meals, and after your last meal, focus on drinking 16 oz. of water. You will have 2.5 hours, so easy-peasy! 30 Minute Windows: I set my smart watch to alert me 30 minutes before each meal, and at each meal. I use a the stopwatch feature to time the 30 minutes after eating. The alerts just buzz my wrist, so nobody else is disturbed. For the most part, I can control my environment and stick to my schedule. Vitamins: I take everything at once first thing in the morning. I use a line called NutraMetrix at the advice of my surgeon. I never crushed my other meds, I just swallow them. I am only 6 weeks in, and it has all become very routine. Good luck!!
